In an emotional video shared on her YouTube channel last weekend, captioned, “An Honest Conversation: Postpartum, Heartbreak, & When Life Doesn’t Go As Planned…” Lala Baptiste told about her breakup Jay Cincoher postpartum journey, and her commitment to showing up for their daughter. While navigating this new chapter, Lala also addressed the online negativity she has been receiving, especially the hurtful comments from people suggesting that she was “just want a baby.” She explained that her vision was always more than that, stating that she wanted a family and hoped that her daughter would grow up in a home with two parents.

Lala also asked why people have to paint one person as the victim of bankruptcy. Reflecting on the importance of respecting each other, she emphasized that two people can still love and care for each other while recognizing that separation may be the best thing for them right now.
