Speaking of the documentary, Disability Rights UK this was to say:
“As Disability activists for social justice and disability equality, we refer to the deep-rooted ableism that runs through our society, where our lives are not valued equally with the lives of non-disabled people, where we are bombarded with political and media messages, we have become a burden and too costly to support and where we are called traitors and skiers. But we rarely see this issue shown on television.
Some of the visitors were attracted by the cost-effectiveness of the separation. All the visitors were decent people and it was clear that hostile political messages about disabled people being a burden and an expense had a direct impact on the views of ordinary people.
Definitely check out this program.”
