Sister Wives’ Meri Brown says she plans to be “every week”

Sister Wives‘ Mary Brown breaks down the wildest DMs she’s received since her split from her husband Kody Brown – includes a bunch of tips.

“There’s been a couple of times since I’ve been dating that people have contacted me on social media basically saying, ‘Hey, we’d love to have you in our family,'” Meri, 55, reveals in Us‘ special sneak peek of the Sunday, October 25, episode of the TLC reality series.

Meri, who confirmed her split from Kody, 57, in January 2023 after more than 30 years together, admits she received “all kinds” of messages from polygamists asking her to join their family unit.

“I’ve had families reach out to me, like, a wife saying that she and her husband are looking and that they would be interested,” she explains. “I’ve had a guy say he and his wife are a lot like me.”

Meri notes that polygamists aren’t the only ones who slide into her DMs in hopes of a romantic relationship.

“I get compliments, I swear, every week,” she says. “You know, I had an email just the other day where a guy, you know, sent a message and it’s the weirdest thing. It’s the weirdest thing.”

Elsewhere in the clip, Meri sheds light on her dating life while doing some sort of outdoor sailing.

“When I was chatting with Eric, like, he was kind of fun. He was a very outgoing guy,” Meri explains, referring to one of her matches. “But if somebody’s interested, they’re going to make it known. And I didn’t tell that and he didn’t tell it. And I was fine with that.”

Meri’s love life has been a topic of conversation since her and Kody’s split. The former couple tied the knot in 1990 and quickly expanded their plural family in 1993 and 1994 with sisters-in-law Janelle Brown and Christina Brownrespectively.

A year later, Meri welcomed her only child, Leon, now 31, with Kody. Thanks to Janelle, 57, and Christine, 54, Meri is also a second mother to their 12 children together.

In 2010, Kody spiritually married his fourth wife, Robyn Brownwhich fans watched play out on season 1 of Sister Wives.

Four years later, Kody legally divorced Meri so he could legally marry Robyn, 48, and adopt her three children from a previous marriage. (Kody and Robyn welcomed two of their own biological children.)

The Brown family shocked fans in November 2021 when Christine announced her separation from Kody after more than 25 years of spiritual marriage.

Janelle announced in December 2022 that she and Kody had been separated for a few months. Meri confirmed her split from Kody the following month.

Robyn and Kody are still married, but chose not to go back Sister Wives for the current season.

Christine has since married David Woolleysaying, “I do” in October 2023. Janelle, for her part, revealed in August that she is dating a man named Pete.

Meri, meanwhile, said in January 2024 that she had been quietly seeing a named man Amos from October 2023. The couple announced their separation in February 2024.

In season 20 of Sister WivesMeri created a connection with a named man Ron. She revealed in the first scene of season 21 that the couple was completely platonic but that she was not opposed to the possibility of their relationship turning romantic.
