Next to his The Vampire Diaries co-stars, Steven appear with Paul Wesley, John Somerhalder, Kat Graham and Riley Voelkel at Forever Mystic Falls Fan Meet on October 3 and 4. Unfortunately, some were not kind in the comments of photos and video from the event, referring to his appearance. Others, however, were just as happy to see him back in the spotlight. Steven he hasn’t made many public appearances in recent years, and to our knowledge, his last major red carpet appearance appears to be from 2019.

Steven shared a selfie, his first image on his Instagram grid since 2021.

It was well received in the comments, by Taylor Lautner saying, “My man! Let’s go!” a musician Mirela Janis posted, “We’re glad to have you back!” TVand Matthew Davis wrote, “Love you my friend!”
It appears Steven maybe they made a subtle reference to the haters just a few days ago in a now deleted Instagram story.
