Tia Glover She revealed she was “gobsmacked” to find out her friend was Gizelle Bryant she was sitting on the information about her husband Rob Glover be on dating apps. The Real Housewives of Potomac the star shared how long Gizelle knew, and remembered to confront her husband.
One of the main storylines of the upcoming season is the rumor that Rob was on dating sites, which the co-stars seemed happy to find out and discuss. The first season of Tia RHOPhowever, it was relatively easy for a newbie ‘Housewife.’
In an interview with ET, Tia shared that Wendy Osefo she called to tell her that the dating app storyline was going to continue all season, so Tia should “buckle in.” Tia confirmed that this was indeed brought up throughout the season.
She then mentioned how Gizelle, who was Tia’s friend, sat on the information while the cameras were down.
“I think you can see on my face that I was gobsmacked,” said Tia, via @mrhousewives on Instagram. “I certainly didn’t think my friend had this information and she didn’t just pick up the phone and call me. … We were all in New York in January, and I was in.” [Gizelle’s] room in the afternoon after the meeting. I had given her a gift from Nigeria, and we were chatting away. She had plenty of time to tell me face to face if she was looking for me.”
Tia said that Gizelle and Stacey Rusch both knew about it at the reunion, and Stacey worked hard to “put him on Gizelle.”
Tia said that her relationship with Gizelle was “ruined” because of it, although she did not reveal where they are today, because fans “need to see”.
Later, Tia recalled confronting her husband about the release of the dating app.
“How much do you not think this would come out? I don’t know if he thought. He said, you know, he was just tired, looking for some attention,” Tia told the outlet. “It wasn’t [asked] at the time, but after Wendy encouraged me to ask, I went back and said, ‘Well, how long?’ And he said, ‘For about a year,’ what kind of thing is going on when I joined this group of friends.”
Tia suggested that she didn’t go through the app to verify if what he said was true.
“Listen, I have four kids. I’m not a police woman, so I’m not in the business of policing people. At that time, I was just making sure I kept my hands to my side and didn’t do any physical harm,” she continued. “And I was in shock. I was very embarrassed, and I was in a lot of pain. And at that time, my children did not know about it. And I knew being on public television, that this is something that could not be hidden.”
