A 72 year old man, Michael Griffithswas arrested on Tuesday, September 29, in connection with Underwood’s hit-and-run death, according to ABC7NY. She was struck by the black 2021 Ford Explorer he was driving while crossing the street at an intersection in Brooklyn. NYPD said he crossed the double yellow line to pass another vehicle when he hit Underwood.
