The NFL and the NFL Players Association have launched a joint investigation into the handling of officials Jalen is hurting blood clot diagnosis.

NFL & Players Association take action after concerns over Jalen Hurts diagnosis
According to ESPN, the league and the players’ union issued a joint statement on Sunday, October 25, confirming their decision to review the matter after the NFLPA called for an investigation earlier this week. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo shared more information about the situation confirming that the review is already underway. He explained that an investigation into how officials handled Jalen Hurt’s diagnosis will take some time while the league and the players’ union work to find out what happened.
“Communications are ongoing regarding the investigation requested by the union into how this was handled by Hurts. It is taking time, this is a major effort, of course. Carafolo said.
Social media is weighing in and calling out Jalen’s mistreatment

Blood Clot Diagnosis Details Hurts & NFL Season Absences
As previously reported by The Shade Room, Bleacher Report confirmed that Jalen Hurts will miss the rest of the NFL season after doctors discovered blood clots in his lungs. The Philadelphia Eagles have since placed the quarterback on injured reserve as doctors expect him to undergo three months of treatment. Hurts last took the field on October 11 in London. According to ESPN, doctors first discovered a blood clot in the calf. His agent, Nicole Lynn, later shared a statement on X, revealing that doctors diagnosed him with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and bilateral pulmonary emboli while in London. At the time, the Eagles released a statement explaining that doctors had cleared the quarterback to “play safely” in the game.
