Gypsy Rose Blanchard asking followers to help her adjust after losing Kenneth Urcare. Days after her partner was found unresponsive at a home in Louisiana on his 34th birthday, Blanchard shared a photo of him with their daughter, Aurora Raina, and called an effort in his honor.
Her Instagram post on Sunday morning addressed the online treatment she says Urker received before his death and asked supporters to take action. “All I have is my daughter and my voice,” she wrote.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Asks Fans To Support ‘Kenan’s Law’
Blanchard used the photo of Urker and Aurora to introduce a Change.org petition calling for changes to how social media platforms handle harassment reports. “In honor of Ken, I’m asking for your support of Kenan’s Law. LINK IN BIO,” she continued in her caption.
The petition focuses on repeated reports involving the same person. Blanchard said she wants platforms to consider the volume and pattern of reported content rather than evaluating each item in isolation. “Kenan’s Law is about changing how social media platforms handle multiple harassment reports,” she wrote. “One viewed post alone may not tell the whole story, but hundreds of posts, videos and comments targeting one person can reveal a pattern worthy of meaningful review.”
She directed followers to the petition through her Instagram bio and asked them to share it, writing, “Please sign and share the petition to support Kenan’s Law.
Blanchard Claims Reports of Harassment Received ‘No Break’ Responses

In the caption, Blanchard said that Urker faced targeted harassment before his death and that reports made to social media platforms often went nowhere. “Prior to his death, Ken had a lot of online monitoring and what we believed was crossing the line into targeted harassment and cyberbullying,” she said. “Reports were made across multiple platforms, and far too often, the answer was simply: ‘No break.'”
She did not name the platforms in that passage or provide details about individual reports.
Blanchard also considered whether her proposal would prevent criticism of public figures. “This is not about stifling criticism or taking away anyone’s freedom of speech,” Blanchard said. “Public figures can and should be criticized. But public figures are still people, and fame should not dehumanize someone.”
Her post follows earlier reports in which she said Urker had been cyberbullied on platforms including TikTok and Reddit. “Fame does not destroy humanity. A pattern cannot be understood one post at a time,” she wrote at the end of Sunday’s caption.
Ken Urker was found unresponsive on his 34th birthday
Urker was found unresponsive at a home in Raceland, Louisiana, on Thursday, October 1, his 34th birthday. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office previously confirmed that officers responded after receiving a call around 6:15 p.m. Authorities said Urker was dead when they arrived and the death investigation is ongoing.
Blanchard has said that she suspects that he died of an overdose, while admitting that she did not know if it was intentional. A final cause and manner of death have not been established.
She also said she previously sent a birthday text to Urker but did not receive a response.
In Sunday’s post, Blanchard described her decision to begin advocating for changes to social media reporting systems. “Ken’s death has forced me to turn pain into purpose. I can’t change what happened, but I can advocate for a better system for the next person who feels like no one is listening,” she wrote.
Authorities have not established online harassment as the cause of Urker’s death.
Gypsy Rose previously confirmed Aurora’s Father was Ken
Blanchard and Urker welcomed Aurora Raina in December 2024. Their daughter appeared with her father in the photo chosen for a petition to be announced on Sunday. A month before Aurora was born, Blanchard publicly addressed speculation about whether Urker or her ex-husband, Ryan Andersonhe was the father of the child.
According to Page Six, she confirmed Urker’s father in a post that has since been deleted. “There has been a lot of chatter about the father of our baby and although we’ve known for sure from the beginning, I feel like it’s finally time to put all these theories to rest,” she wrote. “Kenneth is the father.”
Blanchard also shared her excitement about raising their daughter together. “Ken is going to be an amazing father and we are so excited to welcome our little girl into the world,” she said.
After Urker’s death, Blanchard described him as an amazing father and promised to make sure Aurora knew how deeply he loved her.
Blanchard and Urker reunited years after their first engagement
Blanchard and Urker’s relationship began while she was in prison. He wrote to her in 2017 after watching the HBO documentary “Mommy Dead and Dearest,” and their correspondence blossomed into romance. Urker proposed in 2018, but the couple later split. Blanchard Anderson later married while still in prison.
After her announcement in December 2023 and the breakup of her marriage, she reunited with Urker in April 2024. They welcomed Aurora that December, though they separated again before his death, according to earlier reports.
Blanchard has since shared personal photos and videos of Urker, including clips of him kissing her and moments featuring their daughter. “You are the greatest love story I will ever have. You will be remembered and loved forever,” she said of that tribute earlier.
