There are many reasons not to cheat on your wife, but this one takes the cake.
As the Caleb Flynn A murder trial continues, in which the American Idol alum is accused of murder in the death of his wife, who was 37 years old Ashley Flynnthe jury and the courtroom played two songs he composed for his mistress, Allighea Botner (not pictured above).
The lyrics were written by Caleb, but the music itself was created by AI – and this time “AI” means artificial intelligence, not American Idol.
When they were played for the jury, the cameraman captured the reactions of everyone in that courtroom, and well, you can watch for yourself to see how people reacted:

There were two songs, and the lyrics seemed to refer to Caleb and Allighea’s age gap, an anniversary, and more. Watch the first one in full here:

As we reported in February, Ashley Flynn was shot and killed in her Tipp City home in what appeared, at first, to be a home invasion. A 911 call revealed Caleb saying he found Ashley shot twice in the head in the bedroom. He started the call saying:
“Oh my God, somebody broke into my home. Somebody broke into my home and killed my wife. … There’s blood everywhere.”
He also said that he was “with the children when it happened,” adding that his daughters were in their bedroom and were not awake at the time. Breaking into sobs, Caleb told the attorney that Ashley wasn’t breathing:
“Ashley, Ashley baby, baby please. Oh my god. That’s…she’s not…”

When police arrived at the home, they found Ashley shot in the head with two shell casings on the floor. One responding officer noted that the side door to the garage was open, but the report indicated that there was a large fridge in front of it, which had to be pushed to open the door. Police also said the center console of a truck parked in the garage was open. Caleb told an officer that’s where he kept his handgun.

So, as we said, law enforcement initially believed that someone broke into the Flynn family home and shot Ashley to death, but in the end they directed their suspicions to Caleb. He was arrested and charged with one count of murder, two counts of criminal trespass, and two counts of tampering with evidence. He is accused of shooting Ashley with a 9mm handgun and setting up the crime scene, causing officers to be distracted.
Back in 2013, Caleb tried for American Idol during season 12, where he talked about his wife in a hometown interview, saying:
“I really love the Lord. I love my wife more than anything. She’s very, very beautiful. … I love her. But, you know, I’m just an ordinary person who loves to sing more than anything in the world.”
Per Joseph Wilhelmspecial agent at the Ohio BCI (Bureau of Criminal Investigation), an AI-generated music app was deleted from Caleb’s phones days before Ashley’s death.
He maintains his innocence.
