ALT Fragrances is an ‘if you know, you know’ brand that produces spot-on reproductions of some of the most popular expensive perfumes. I personally think Crystal No. 23 is one of the best, and Frankel agrees.

“Fall is when I want to smell a little richer. I love an expensive fragrance as well as the next rich b—h, and Crystal No. 23 gives me my Baccarat Rouge fix,” Frankel wrote on Instagram. “Whatever your expensive scent, ALT probably has a version of it.”
Much like the scent it inspired, Crystal No. Despite the affordable price, the perfume also lasts a long time – up to 12 hours – because it is extrait de parfum rather than eau de parfum, meaning it has a higher concentration of perfume oil for better staying power.
Unless you interact with a trained nose (aka, a professional perfumer), no one can tell that this is not Baccarat Rouge 540. People will simply know that you smell fancy – and they will probably tell you. So many reviewers say that Crystal No. is a compliment magnet. 23. “This smells amazing. A little goes a long way and lasts all day,” says one happy customer. “I’ve literally gotten compliments on how this smells. Strangers tease me and laugh.”
As a perfume expert, I completely agree with Frankel that you don’t have to drop a ton of money to smell amazing. And with a scent like ALT Fragrances Crystal No. 23 Extrait de Parfum you give off the aura of a rich Upper Eastern mother with just a few spritzes.
