The Early and the Beautiful delivers Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) feeling very sorry. He feels mistreated Forrester Formats. And Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) basically tells Zende, “Good luck. You’ve got to support RJ Forrester because his junior line and Electra are going to save the family business.”
But with Zende getting what could be the offer of a lifetime from Katie Logan (Heather Tom) soon, I suspect that Zende may use it as a bargaining chip and that could upset Ridge.
Bold and beautiful: Zende doesn’t hold back
So, right now we see Ridge acting like his hands are tied and he can’t do anything to help Zende. Therefore, he becomes very frustrated and does not stay quiet. Zende pushes back and tells Ridge it’s unfair. He was offered a lead designer Hope for the future and then that was torn away from him because Ridge and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) were pushing Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) out the door because of the way they were treating her. I love that Zende called Ridge out on the part he played in Hope leaving, even though we can all agree she went about it the wrong way.
So, Ridge wants to blame all their business issues Logan and on Katie in particular, but she is crazy. That’s as if Dolce and Gabbana were threatened by a small modern shop that opened the block. The Forresters act like they’ve never faced competition before and can’t hold their own against Katie’s little startup. And Zende also called Ridge out for his obvious nepotism when it comes to RJ Forrester.
Ridge eliminates Zende on B&B
It is not fair that Zende has to take orders from RJ when he has half the experience and far less seniority and has not put in a fraction of the work and time that Zende has. Forrester Formats. And we saw Ridge pretty much get rid of Zende’s frustration and he just blew it off. Ridge tells Zende that he is needed. He is a family man, but he has to be a team player.
And basically, Ridge offers no hope for Zende’s future. And he told Ridge his doubts. Zende doesn’t think RJ and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) are the right choice to lead the line, which is kind of interesting because Hope was telling Katie about the challenges that Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) is struggling with due to lack of experience and that’s why Hope wants Zende over there at Logan House. That way he can be a resource for Deke. So, Hope sees what Ridge doesn’t.

Meanwhile, back at Forrester FormatsZende does not think that working on the RJ and Electra line is a good career choice for him. He’s basically feeling ripped off and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was making these panicky noises like, “Oh, you know, we feel bad for you, but Katie is everyone’s fault. She and Ridge are blaming everything on Katie. At the same time, we have hope over him Logan House Really, really miss Zende.
Hope loved working with Zende. He and Hope had a wonderful professional relationship. They were also good friends. And she feels terrible that Zende is upset with her because she left Forrester Formats. And Hope knows she left Zende high and dry.
Hope certainly didn’t do that to hurt him. But she just had to find out Forrester Formatsout from under Steffy’s thumb after delaying her line so many times in recent years and then shelving it again recently for Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) couture line. So, Hope wants a chance to explain all of this to Zende. But so far, he still doesn’t want to talk to Hope despite Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) encouraging him.

But this week, Zende’s frustration is mounting. So, I think RJ is going to pull another little nepo baby move that Ridge supports and Zende at the top. And by the end of this week, we have Hope and Katie talking about why they need Zende and reaffirming that she and Hope will do anything to get Zende over to. Logan House. So, I expect that in the next few episodes, we will see Katie and Hope get a chance to talk to Zende and make a formal offer because the Logan women really want him gone. Forrester Formats where it is not appreciated.
He doesn’t respect him and they want him to come work with Hope again. And I think Katie will give Zende everything he’s always wanted, and that’s everything he deserves. I think Katie is going to make Zende an amazing offer. Basically, I think Katie is going to tell Zende, “You can write your own ticket at Logan House. We know he wants to be a top designer with his own line. He doesn’t want to take orders, especially from some punk.”

And I think Katie will say, “Great. Done and done.” And Zende could be offered complete creative freedom and authority to do whatever he wants, which is what Hope currently has. You know, no answer to anyone, especially not a bossy little nepo boy who shouldn’t be in line. So, I totally think Zende is going to seriously consider Katie’s offer, but I also don’t think it’s going to be sneaky.
I don’t think Zende is going to do things the same way Hope did. Not at all. I don’t think Zende is going to go behind anyone’s back at Forrester Formats. And I don’t think he will lie and say he is taking a leave of absence like Hope did. I think Zende is going to be completely blunt and just tell Ridge about it. So, I think Zende will probably tell Ridge that Katie made him a surprise offer. I think Zende will say, “Katie offered me a lead designer and I would have my own line if I went over Logan House.”

And then Zende can ask Ridge, “What are you going to offer me to stay because you say I’m so important?” And I think Zende could push Ridge to put RJ aside and let Zende run the youth line and RJ should be answering it because that’s how it should be from the jump. And I could see Zende basically hitting Ridge with an ultimatum.
Give me what I deserve or I’ll join Katie and Hope. But I don’t think that Ridge is going to cave according to Zende’s demands. And I think if it goes like this and Zende tells him what Katie offered, I think Ridge will go crazy. He might get angry at Zende and Ridge might tell him, “Stop this. You must be loyal to the Forresters.” And Ridge could say that even Zende talking to Katie and Hope was a betrayal. And of course, Ridge thinks that Zende must be loyal to the Forresters, but they are not loyal to Zende.

I think Ridge will make Zende angry. You know, Forresters and Spencers don’t mix. And as you know, Ridge has a short fuse. And I can see it flashing out at Zende. I see Brooke come in to rant about her sister Katie luring the Forresters over to the dark side. So I think we might see Ridge get the chance to keep Zende at Forrester Formatsbut Ridge blows it because he refuses to give Zende what he asked for.
These are the things he deserves, things Ridge gave him and took away from him and unfairly gave to Golden Boy RJ. And from there, Ridge can threaten Zende. If you go to Logan Houseyou are no longer a Forrester. But you know, Zende has a spirit of its own. So, if Ridge says that, it could be explosive.
So, let’s stay tuned for what happens at the end of this week and into next week. However, I fully expect Katie to make Zende an offer she can’t refuse. And he goes to Ridge hoping to find a compromise, a win to stay at Forrester Formats. But then Ridge blows up and makes everything worse instead.
