Ashanti covers his son’s face in new birthday party photos
As said, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes he turned two last July, but Ashanti held back on sharing moments from his celebration until September. On Tuesday (September 29), she dropped a photo shoot giving a closer look at KK’s custom dark blue Micky Mouse shorts set. The pictures show the child in the arms of his father and his mother and they are both smiling! Some of the images show KK playing inside a balloon igloo, going down a slide and riding in a train cart. She subscribed to the post, “Magic family moments.”
Video player repeats a previous party
This is not the first time Mama Ashanti has posted about her boy’s second birthday. On September 19, she shared a video of a repeat with a custom theme song. The clip shows children enjoying a typical ‘KK Turns Two’ party, embedded in the color blue. It looked like there were carnival games like basketball, ball pits, costumed characters like Mickey Mouse and Bluey, bounce houses and fireworks with the birthday cake. Children can be seen dancing, enjoying bubbles and food stalls. At one point, Ashanti and Nelly are seen dancing together.
“We can’t believe our little heartbeat is two years old!!!! The joy and love you bring is more than we could have dreamed. Mommy and Daddy celebrate you every day and we are so blessed to celebrate your 2nd birthday, surrounded by family, friends, and lots of love and laughter. Happy Birthday KK!!!!! Ashanti wrote. Adding, “Yeah….. I know I’m super late… July 2026 🤣🤣🤣🎉🎉🎉 “KK TWO FAST” 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉”
Social media reacts to new photos of KJ
In Ashanti’s comment section, fans and even celebrities like Tamar Braxton introduced the couple and KK with love. Others defended the mother’s right to block the child’s face with a blue heart, and some argued that the edit is “doing too much.” The couple has not publicly revealed KK’s face since his birth.
@mizauntdee, for example, said, “Stop trying to tell Mrs. Haynes WHEN to show her son…..Carried him for 9 months, he was born and she’s raising him; she can wait until he’s in HS if she makes that choice. She doesn’t have to do anything she doesn’t feel comfortable doing.”
@qtpie617 added, “Lol ppl I’m not mad they won’t post the kid’s face it’s just weird putting that crazy sticker over his face. My opinion too, don’t post it, post yall celebrating at his party. But whatever 🤷🏽♀️.”
