Youth club that attended Chad LoweLate daughter Fiona is paying tribute to the teenager after her suicide death aged 13.
“Thank you Fiona. Thank you for all the beautiful years we had the opportunity to splash, dance, laugh and love each other,” said the official Instagram account for Widget Works, a children’s camp and social club in Santa Monica and the Palisades Pacific in California, on Friday October 2.
The group continued, “We will miss you and we will look for you in every wave, every seagull screeching, and we will say your name among the ‘we are proud of you’ – we love and adore you and our hearts ache for you but you will always be part of our summers and we will honor you and remember the beautiful days we were blessed with you Fiona.”
Chad and his wife, Kim painterthey announced the loss of their daughter in a joint statement on Wednesday, September 30, describing Fiona as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance.” (The parents also share daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.)
“We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the couple told several media outlets in their statement. “She was loved by her siblings and loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her death is devastating to our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. On Thursday, October 1, the LA medical examiner clarified that Fiona was pronounced dead at 1:14 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29. Her death was ruled a suicide, according to the coroner’s office. (People first report the news.)
Fiona’s older sister Mabel broke her silence following her sister’s death on Saturday 3rd October.
“I love you so much, Fiona ❤️,” Mabel, 17, wrote via Instagram alongside a carousel of throwback family photos. “I wish your short time here was easier, and I hope your mind is at rest now.”
She continued, “I will always honor you, and I will keep your memory alive. I love you, I hope you knew exactly what.”
The pretty little liars father alum, Chuck Lowealso publicly mourned the death of her grandson after her untimely death.
“Rest in peace, sweet Fiona,” Chuck wrote via Instagram.
