Dolly Weaver was killed in a car accident
Dolly Weaver, played by Ellyn Jameson in five episodes of the CBS television program, killed.
After traveling to Wyoming to help Kayce find her kidnapped son, Dolly unfortunately becomes involved in an ambush set up by her own family. The character meets her sudden end when her father’s desperate attempt to escape from a standoff results in a fatal speeding vehicle takedown.
In her last moments, Tom tries to outrun the US Marshals and crashes the car, which falls down a steep slope. Although Tom miraculously survives the impact, Kayce lowers his weapon and refuses to flee quickly, leaving him in the wreckage to live because he killed his own child.

An exhibitionist Spencer Hudnut TV Line said, “We went back and forth a lot about it, trying to figure out the best path for her. In some ways, this is a reminder that people who grow close to Kayce Dutton are likely to have tragic consequences.”
