Vicki Gunvalson send Judge Tamra exploded after she told her mates about her health on the last episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
As Tamra, 59, insisted that Vicki, 64, was “normal” and “fine,” despite being believed to have brain damage, Vicki called her to reveal the results of a doctor’s visit, opened up about her eight brain surgeries, and admitted to experiencing tons of health challenges in the last decades of her life.
“It was just too bad she was there when the results were read to me,” Vicki noted on the Oct. 1 episode of the show. RHOC: After the show.
Meanwhile, Tamra remembered the doctor telling Vicki that she had white spots on her brain.
“The doctor said, ‘Yes, you have white spots on your brain, but that’s normal,'” she said. “I go, ‘Oh, I’ve got them too,’ and he took it because she had brain damage. So I went to dinner that night [with Emily Simpson and Jennifer Pedranti]and I said, ‘Well, the doctor, she thinks she has brain damage.'”
As Vicki called Tamra “tell-a-Tamra” and accused her of “[telling] everyone” in her business, Tamra suggested that Emily and Jennifer took the information and ran with it.
Anyway, Vicki felt Tamra shouldn’t have spilled the beans.
“Tamra knows a lot about my history. It wasn’t Tamra’s place to talk about my health… She didn’t talk bad, and she likes skulls. It was wrong,” she said. “I don’t appreciate Tamra especially talking about brain injuries when she doesn’t know what it was. I had white dots on the scan that were illegal. It wasn’t anything that put me in a bad place with her because I thought, because I thought, what’s the point of you doing this? Was it the trick queen? It was 100 percent wrong.”
Reflecting on her health history, Vicki confirmed, “I’ve had eight brain surgeries.”
“I don’t worry, but I know my health, and when I had sepsis two years ago and I was unconscious for 10 days and there was a 5 percent chance of survival, yeah, that worried me after I woke up,” she explained. “Like, ‘God, is this the end of my road? The end of my life?’
According to Vicki, she has a cholesteatoma growing in her ear, had her mastoid cavity removed, and also has a cochlear implant and a cadaver eardrum.
“I go every three or four months and get the cholesteatoma out of my colon. [head] because they created that on purpose so I wouldn’t have to cut my head every three years,” she revealed.
“I have everything,” she continued. “I’ve had all my lymph nodes removed from my neck. I’ve had more surgeries than I can count. So am I more anxious? I just want to be healthy.”
Vicki later revealed that she had a large tumor that burst through the wall of her brain at the age of 34.
“I had a 36-hour surgery … “I was in a big sling; my head was in a big position because I had a spinal cord leak for a long time, so that went into spinal meningitis. I mean, I’ve had it all.”
During another moment, after that Heather Dubrow57, that she was “trying to connect [Vicki] by a neurologist,” Tamra said, “She’s fine.”
“That’s why we never heard from him again,” Heather replied.
