Dancing With The Stars‘ Tyler Cameron and fiance Tate Madden they had double cause for celebration when they got engaged and found out they were having a baby back-to-back.
The Bachelor Nation alum, 33, and Madden revealed she was pregnant DWTS‘ Dedication Night Program on Tuesday, October 20.
In a subsequent interview with Peoplethe couple revealed that they found out about their first child together shortly after Cameron popped the question. (Cameron Madden proposed in Little Palm Island, Florida, earlier this year, and the couple announced the news in mid-August.)
“The night we got back from engagement, I took the [pregnancy] test,” Madden recalled.
When she saw the positive test result, Madden said she went up to her new boyfriend and said, “You’re not going to believe this.”
“We’ve been in shock since we found out,” Cameron said, noting that he had to miss Madden’s first ultrasound appointment because of rehearsals for Dancing With The Stars.
“Tate gave me a photo of the soundtrack to New York City when I got to see her again,” he said. “Seeing that picture was when it was so real to me. Like, ‘Oh my God, we’re doing this. We’re having a baby.’ It was just an amazing time.”
Cameron and Madden announced their baby news on Tuesday as the Bachelor alum and professional dance partner Sharna Burgess they performed a contemporary dance, which they dedicated to mothers around the world.

“You would love the woman I’m going to marry,” Cameron said in a voiceover dedicated to his late mother. Andrew. “Everything that made you sepcial, I found in her. She’s going to be the most amazing mom, just like you. And we’re going to have a baby. I can’t believe I’m a dad. I wish you were here, I hope I can make you proud. I love you and I miss you every day.”
Cameron and Madden also revealed the baby’s gender when pink confetti exploded in the ballroom, confirming they were having a girl.
“I have to be my father’s daughter. What a gift it is, what an opportunity it is,” said Cameron in the program.
Cameron and Madden have been dating since 2024. Earlier this year, he proposed to his girlfriend in an Instagram post to celebrate Madden’s 33rd birthday.
“To my beautiful girlfriend, I’d like to wish you a very happy 33rd birthday,” he captioned a series of photos of them together. “You are the biggest part of my life. You gave me so much love, so much life, so much fun, and peace.”
He said, “You have made my life so much more than I could have ever imagined. I am so lucky to call you my girlfriend, and soon to be my wife.
