Bryana Holly mourns the death of Sahara Ray in a heartfelt message

Bryan Holly mourning the death of her close friend Sahara Ray.

“There is no one like you. There is no soul more radiant, or mind more beautiful, or heart more loving. How lucky I am to have spent so many years with you in my life. I am forever grateful that the universe gave us the opportunity to cross paths.”

Her online tribute was shared two days after Sahara, the Australian model and pro surfer girl Tony Rayhe died at the age of 34. An official cause of death has not been publicly confirmed.

Holly, another model and the actor’s wife Nicholas Houlthe continued, “I sang all the old voice notes you sent me. I’ve been reading the old letters you gave me. I still hear you laughing by my side. I still feel you holding my hand. I’d sing and dance and take long walks down the coast.”

The friends had shared a friendship for years, with Sahara even sharing a series of topless photos of the pair together via Instagram in 2017.

“We would sing and dance and take long trips down the coast,” continued Holly. “Stay all night in your room talking and laughing and when I cried, you would scratch my back until I fell asleep. I will cherish those memories for as long as I live.”

Holly ended her message by declaring her eternal love for Sahara. “Many years ago you wrote to me, ‘I will always be with you. Forever.’ You will be. I carry your heart in my heart, I do,” she wrote. “I love you so much.”

Sahara’s family confirmed her death in a statement shared with him TMZ on Monday, October 19. “She passed away last night surrounded by family at the hospital,” the statement read. “She was so loved.”

Sahara, from Australia who grew up in California, rose to fame through modeling. After building a huge social media profile, she launched a swimwear line called Sahara Ray Swim.

The model also attracted public attention in 2016 after spending time with him Justin Bieber. At the time, the couple was photographed vacationing together in Hawaii. The Sahara was reportedly connected to the singer and the future Traitors a star Cody Simpson.

Her 9-month-old daughter, Snow, is a survivor of the Sahara, which she shared with a 38-year-old man whose identity has never been publicly confirmed.
