Jennifer Meyer and Tobey Maguire they may have officially ended their marriage, but their relationship has taken a path that many former couples are unable to sustain.
Just days after their divorce judgment was filed, Maguire would officiate Meyer’s wedding Geoff Ogunlesi in Hawaii, bringing the family together for a new beginning.
The ceremony also showed how the former partners have continued to prioritize their children as they build different lives.

Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer’s marriage officially ended almost ten years after their separation.
The former couple married in Kona, Hawaii, in 2007 and announced their separation in 2016. Meyer filed for divorce in 2020, but their legal separation was not finalized until recently.
Court documents show that their marital status ended on September 21, 2026. The judgment said, “A judgment has been entered.
The marital or domestic partnership status is terminated, and the parties are restored to the status of single persons. “
Meyer had asked to reinstate their marital status, allowing that portion of the divorce to be settled separately while the unresolved issues were left for a separate trial. The final divorce judgment was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on October 1.
Despite the lengthy legal process, Meyer and Maguire have maintained a healthy, friendly relationship and have remained involved in each other’s lives.
Maguire takes a special part in his ex-wife’s wedding
This commitment to being involved in each other’s lives was evident when jewelry designer Geoff Ogunlesi married on Saturday at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii.
Tobey Maguire reportedly performed the ceremony, reading prepared statements while Jennifer Meyer exchanged vows with her husband under an arch of flowers overlooking the ocean.
The wedding brought together a high-profile guest list, including Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, Courteney Cox, Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sanchez, and Rachel Zoe.
Meyer wore a white wedding gown with a veil, while Ogunlesi chose a black tuxedo.
Photos received by the Daily Mail they showed the couple celebrating their wedding in front of their guests.
Tobey Maguire’s children joined Jennifer Meyer’s new family
Meyer’s wedding marked another milestone for the blended family she and Geoff Ogunlesi have built since they first tied the knot in 2023.
The couple got engaged in 2024 and welcomed their daughter several months ago.
Meyer announced the baby’s arrival on Father’s Day, writing on Instagram, “A perfect month with our perfect baby. We love you @geoffo212 Happy Father’s Day.”
Her older children, Ruby Sweetheart and Otis Tobias, who she shares with the “Spider-Man” actor, were also present at the wedding.

Maguire joins Meyer and her Fiancé for a family dinner
Jennifer Meyer’s close relationship with Tobey Maguire was already visible before the wedding, with the former spouses spending time with Meyer’s new partner earlier this year.
As TMZ reported in May, Maguire was spotted having dinner in Beverly Hills with Meyer, his girlfriend, and their two children, Ruby and Otis.
Maguire kept a low profile in black, with a hat pulled low over his eyes as the group were photographed outside E Baldi restaurant.
Meyer wore a denim jacket over her baby; she was expecting her third child, her first with Ogunlesi.
Their children and Geoff Ogunlesi appeared undisturbed by the photographers, while the three adults stood together and chatted.
The service said Maguire appeared to be undated. He has not been in a serious public relationship since his 2022 split from model Tatiana Dieteman, although he is often raised by women.

The ease with which Meyer, Maguire, and Ogunlesi have spent time together has not come without effort.
The 49-year-old previously admitted that maintaining a close relationship with her husband after their separation required them to overcome huge challenges, especially while raising their two children through important stages of their childhood.
Speaking on the “Inside Edit” podcast in December 2025, Meyer explained that the ages of their children made it especially important for her and Maguire to stay connected.
“It wasn’t easy every day, and I’m sure he would say the same thing, 100 percent,” she said, acknowledging that they “definitely had to overcome some big obstacles.”
Meyer credited actress Gwyneth Paltrow for encouraging her to deal with the split constructively. Paltrow recommended therapist Dr. Habib Sadeghi, and Meyer and Maguire went to therapy together, which helped them improve their relationship.
The jewelry designer said that the effort had changed the way she saw her ex-husband. “I have a man now who is my best friend and would do anything for me, and I would do anything for him,” she said, adding, “Anything in the world.”
