We have reached the people of October! That means putting up decorations, baseballs (for some people), cozy blankets and more. And if you’re under a cozy blanket, that means it’s probably movie night, and you need something to watch.
As with the start of any new month, Prime Video got a lot of new additions, including the latest in the “Now You See Me” franchise. However, if you are looking for a little old with your new, we have a proposal in that realm. We even chose one type in the middle… ish.
Here are the three best movies to watch on Prime Video this week.

Now you see me: now you don’t
Should “Now You 3 Me?” to be on this film. Yes, yes, it should be. Are we all – and “all” includes the cast itself – that is what we call it in our hearts? Yes again.
“Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” is by no means the strongest entry in this franchise, but it’s still part of this franchise, which makes for a pretty fun ride. The threequel reunites the original Four Horseman, after Isla Fisher dropped the second film. But don’t worry, there’s room for more than one woman in the Horseman (theoretically) and Lizzy Caplan is still there too.
However, this film also introduces the next generation of Horsemen, played by Justice Smith, Ariana Greenblatt and Dominic Sessa. Meanwhile, Rosamund Pike also joins as the Horsemen’s final villain.
“Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” changes its structure a bit, but at the end of the day, it’s a bunch of fun actors doing even more fun magic tricks. Just join the fun!

Fever range
We’re officially into October basketball, as well as Fall proper, so you might just be looking for a cozy rom-com. With “Fever Pitch,” you can combine the two. But, sorry if you’re not a Red Sox fan.
Starring Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon (hey, remember when Jimmy Fallon was just an actor?), the film tells the story of Ben Wrightman (Fallon), a young teacher and businessman Lindsey Meeks (Barrymore), as they fall in love. The relationship is going well until baseball season starts, and Lindsey learns that Ben is happy with the Boston Red Sox. Like, crazy superfan kind of obsessed.
She tries to understand him, but eventually, it affects the relationship, and choices have to be made. Don’t worry, it’s a 2005 rom-com, so it will all work out in the end. It’s a nice little throwback this week, which especially hits if your team is currently in the playoffs (the Red Sox aren’t, but the White Sox sure are!).

Chemical heart
If you’re looking for something to watch on Prime Video, I’m guessing you recently came from watching “The Love Hypothesis,” which premiered at the end of September. If you haven’t seen that, go there first, then come back here.
are you back Great! Now you might be looking for more Lili Reinhart. And if you’re looking for her in another romance, “Chemical Hearts” is your next move. Here, she stars with Austin Abrams (you may have seen recently too, if you got to the theater for “Resident Evil”). Abrams plays a high school newspaper editor, who dreams of becoming a writer.
He considers himself a romantic, but has never been in love. That is, until he meets Grace (Reinhart). But Grace has a troubled past and some secrets come to light, throwing away their relationship.
“Chemical Heart”. far away heavier than “The Love Hypothesis,” so be warned.
