Katie Zacharias faced a major backlash this week after the controversy grew when it was discovered she had failed the US bar exam. Law degree? There are. A lawyer by US standards? No.

Campaign for Accountabilitywatchdog, filed a complaint with the State Bar of California requesting an investigation into her claim, saying:
“Ms. Zacharia has represented herself as a lawyer several times to bolster her reputation and credibility as a television legal reporter and now White House spokesperson, but it appears that was a lie.
When reporters asked her when she passed the bar exam this week, she replied “When I moved to China.” Reportedly, she later said she missed their question… hmm.
