Erika Hammond took on boarders’ complaints about the pool dinner she threw them on her private island, Moskito Island, after last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City.
While Erika also suspected that her new partner, Daisy Toyecriticizing her arrangements because of “jealousy,” and Thanks Jessel46, accusing Daisy of lacking fashion sense, Erika, 35, insisted that her intentions in getting together were good.
“Our house manager was saying how she was just hosting a group, and they really enjoyed this dinner in the pool, and I was like, ‘It’s amazing. I’m sure these girls are going to love it,'” Erika explained on the Oct. 6 episode of RHONY: After the show before adding, “I was very wrong.”
Erin Lichy39, and Sai de Silva45, were deceived by the concept of the dinner in the water.
“Who dines with their feet in the pool?” Erika asked. “My legs were like, crushing. We didn’t benefit from sitting in the pool.”
“I don’t want my feet in this water…I was freezing,” Sai agreed.
As for Jessel, she just wished she knew about the arrangements beforehand.
“I wish Erika had told us and given us a heads up because I would have planned accordingly with my clothes,” she said.
Meanwhile, Daisy was more critical, making it clear that she had no interest in returning to Moskito Island before. Carole Radziwill63, said she might not have the chance.
“Do you ever go somewhere and you’re like, ‘I’ll never come back here in my life?’ The island is one of those places,” said Daisy.
“You definitely won’t be invited back,” Carole replied.
In response to Daisy, in particular, Erika threw shade at her living situation, specifically the popcorn ceilings in her apartment.
“I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s jealousy. Maybe it’s envy. We have an island, and it has popcorn ceilings,” said Erika.
Jessel also targeted Daisy, who gave her outfit for the night as “Shein”.
“That’s my Shein outfit that I was wearing … I can’t,” said Jessel. “You can throw me any insult under the sun, but Shein was the way he was, that was pissed off…he was [a] $2,000 [outfit]. She didn’t even know the brand I was wearing.”
“I respect the opinion of everyone who has good fashion sense, but that from Daisy didn’t make a big impression on me,” she said.
