Last week, there was a ton of social media drama involved Summer House aluminum West Wilson and Amanda Butters.

As well as what happened on social media, Amanda, 35, also made several appearances in the media about leaving In the City.

Fresh on the heels of all that, Amanda and West, 31, took to social media to express their shock Halloween Costumes.

The couple went as the main characters, Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, from the 1994 comedy film Dumb and dumber.

West took to social media to share the photos with the caption “soup du jour.”

Really Dumb and dumber fashion, Amanda sported Harry’s bright orange tuxedo while West dressed Lloyd in blue.

Although they didn’t say it clearly, it seems that the couple is mocking everything that people have said about them and the names that they have called, condemning them to be “dumb” for the choices they made and for being together.

As Us Magazine reported recently, one of the reasons for Amanda’s departure In the City supposedly he had to do with the West.

“The In the City the crew refused to film with West, so Amanda decided not to come back for the next season,” a source spilled to the outlet.

The insider said Amanda “went to get back” on the show but chose not to go back.

“Amanda really wanted a break, and she wanted a break from the world to get some perspective on her life and separate her relationship,” they continued. “West has been an emotional problem for her, and she wasn’t going to film without him.

As for how Amanda and West are doing as a couple, the source said they’re “still going strong.”

“They’ve had their ups and downs but basically they’re living together now and they’re still pretty serious,” they said.

In a DM from October 29, Amanda reportedly wrote to a fan about why she was leaving In the Cityshared on Instagram account ‘Yourmomsarewatching’ about her reason for leaving the show: “Constant hate from fan accounts and the internet is a big reason why I decided I wasn’t ready to film again and put myself back out there,” DM Amanda said on October 29. “The bullying has been [too] intense[.] Who would want to put their lives out there for other people’s entertainment when they are constantly being ripped apart and beaten down for everything they do[?]”
