Martha Stewart is facing serious online backlash to a post that appeared on her personal Instagram account for Halloween.
The post is no longer live on Instagram, however, it still appears on a verified Facebook page associated with her name.
Martha posted, “My QVC candles are perfect for Halloween!!!!!” Among the photos that were included were a few images of themed candles, and a third photo that surprised many.
The additional photo is an image of Martha with dirt on her face holding up a sign that says, “I’M HUNGRY HELP ME!” It’s unclear if the photo was created by AI, hacked, or if she intended to post this.
We have reached out to Martharepresentative for comment but did not hear back.
Martha Stewart’s net worth is said to be around $400 million
Martha I got a lot of backlash for this post.
Comments on Reddit include, “I can’t believe this. How the hell is it to affect people who are struggling, and living under such pressure? Why?? She is able to help, not hurt like this. Terrible!”
She recently expressed her views on ICE.
