Pete Davidson He knew that, and he was willing to pay the price—for nine months, at least.
Sparks flew when she entertained Saturday Night Live back in October 2021. When they kissed during that Aladdin sketch, everyone at home could see it.
That chemistry would eventually cook into a real relationship. Later that month they went to Knott’s Berry Farm in SoCal together, and by December of the same year, things were going so well that Pete started getting tattoos of her.
Unfortunately, the love would not – or could not – withstand all the scrutiny that came with it.

When he comes up with a new era Different interview, he jokes that he is “one of the survivors – the few and the proud,” comparing himself to others who have dated KarJenner women and Marines.
He does not blame them. If anything, he appreciates what they are capable of surviving, explaining:
“Look, man, that’s a really tough situation to be in if you’re not in your game. One of my favorite things about Kim and the whole family is that they’re like, ‘This is what we do.’ I found that very charming and mature. “
He also notes that while it was a challenging experience – the constant paparazzi, etc. – he never felt pressured to do anything he didn’t want to do:
“And I was never subject to anything that I didn’t want to be a part of. She was very respectful to all of them, but that lifestyle – being followed everywhere, having security and looking over your shoulder – for a guy with mental stuff, and at the time drug problems, was a little too much for me. But we’re cool, and I love her a lot, and I knew what I was getting into.”
Pete was in a more unique position than anyone else who has a date though. It wasn’t just the paparazzi and full schedules that he had to endure. He had to face it Kanye West too, who was desperately trying to win Kim back before their divorce was finalized.

In fits of jealousy, Ye called Pete “Skete” in online rants, insulted his appearance, published private text messages, shared mocking memes, and eventually even made a music video that graphically depicted a clay version of Ye kidnapping, tying up, and burying a clay version of Pete.
Pete says of the whole problem:
“What brought me out was that I was very open about mental stuff – everyone knows about me – and it’s like [saying]’Kill yourself.’ And he pushed me.”
In retrospect, he frames it as if he could at least pave the way for Kim to date again at all, explaining:
“I like to think I got that one out of the way for her because whoever that person was going to be [the guy she dated first after splitting from Kanye] he was going to get it. I cleared the way for her to get back into the dating pool.”
Kim is now in a healthy relationship with Lewis Hamilton. You are married to him Bianca censors. And Pete is a proud father.
Opening up about his love for his daughter Scottie Rosewhich he shares with an old lover Elsie HewittPete says he knows where his priorities are now:
“Scottie was my whole life. I lived or died on this business and what I thought people thought of me. It was a validation and ‘If I do this I will do that.’ But as soon as I saw her the first time, I was like, “Oh my God, none of this relationship matters. It’s work. If I get to do something cool, great; if not, cool, I get to go home more with my kid.'”
He continued:
“[Being a dad is] fill a lot of emptiness. If you think the internet is sick of Pete Davidson, I am. I’m tired of being alone all the time. That it is about the first the best gift ever. It is an indescribable feeling. This is the best, man. I’m excited to get up every day.”
For the record, Pete, we couldn’t be sick of you. We are rooting for you, best wishes!!
