The singer partnered with Taco Bell to create “You Seem Pretty Pink For a Baja Blast,” the pink version of Mountain Dew’s first-ever iconic drink.
The drink combines Baja Blast’s signature tropical lime flavor with pink lemonade. The playful name and custom packaging draw inspiration from Rodrigo’s latest album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So In Love.”
The drink was paired with her Daisy Chain Fields Festival, giving fans the chance to try it for themselves.
Longtime Rodrigo’s Baja Blast love inspired her own flavor
Rodrigo’s love for Baja Blast inspired her to create her own Taco Bell.
The singer had been Baja Blast faithful for years and described it as one of her favorite drinks.
In one interview, she even photographed fans listening to her album in their cars while drinking one. Taco Bell said the pink lemonade in its version was inspired by her favorite flavors and colors.
Before he started, Rodrigo shared her excitement. “MOUNTAIN DEW Baja Blast is one of my all-time favorite drinks, so I can’t believe ‘You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast’ is real,” she said.
“I’m excited to try everyone at Daisy Chain Fields and at Live Más Café in a few days!”

In addition to the collaboration itself, the drink’s playful name and custom “Pretty Pink” packaging were designed to channel Olivia Rodrigo’s new musical era.
The singer explained that making the Baja Blast pink “felt like a natural choice” and reflected the colorful evolution of its history.
“My [new] pink is obviously on an album cover, and I’ve moved away from using a lot of purple since the ‘Sour’ and ‘Guts’ eras, and I also really like lemonade pink,” she said. “It was fun to do something completely different for this album and this collaboration with Taco Bell.
The partnership also extended beyond the drink itself, with limited edition products drawn from Rodrigo’s current aesthetic.
Where Olivia’s Pink Baja Blast made its debut

Taco Bell officially brought Rodrigo’s pink Baja Blast to restaurants across the United States on Thursday, September 24.
Before the nationwide release, fans got an early taste at UCI’s Live Más Cafe in Irvine, California, on August 28, where the chain hosted a Rodrigo-themed takeover.
The drink then began its first official public tour on August 29 at Live Más Café locations throughout Southern California, Las Vegas, Dallas, and Houston.
The date coincided with the launch of Rodrigo’s first Daisy Chain Fields, an all-female music festival in Irvine, where festival-goers could sample the drink via Taco Bell action.

Early reviews of “You Seem Pretty Pink For a Baja Blast” focused heavily on its sweet and tangy combination.
Taco Bell described it as a combination of Baja Blast’s signature tropical lime flavor with a refreshing pink lemonade twist.
Tasting table he said the drink was bright and vibrant, with the zesty Baja Blast lime still evident while the pink lemonade added balance.
The reviewer said, “I especially like how spicy the drink is – and how well it retains that carbonation long after I order it. The color of the drink is pale pink, which surprised me, as I was expecting something closer to bright pink.”
