The Fan Page Mail arrived two days after her divorce

An Instagram post on Oct. 8 featured a selfie of Goth wearing a shirt with the words “My ex is my biggest fan” on the front. The image was accompanied by a lipstick kiss emoji.
With Goth having filed for divorce just two days earlier, the message invited speculation as to whether he was referring to LaBeouf. However, it has now been confirmed that the post appeared on a fan page and was not posted by Goth himself.
Goth filed her divorce papers in Los Angeles on Oct. 6, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The filing listed July 28, 2025, as the couple’s separation date, putting the breakup more than a year before the latest legal move.
Goth seeks primary custody of Isabella’s daughter

The divorce petition also outlines Goth’s demands regarding the couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Isabella. As previously reported by The Blast, the actress is seeking major legal and physical care. She also wants to end the court’s ability to award her or LaBeouf spousal support.
Goth also said the “exact nature and extent” of the parties’ individual property, community property and debt is “currently unknown.” She wants to amend the petition once that information is established.
Mia Goth And Shia LaBeouf’s relationship included breakups and reunions

Goth and LaBeouf’s history stretches back to December 2012, when they met on the set of “Nymphomaniac: Vol II.” They dated for four years before exchanging vows in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas in October 2016.
The pair divorced two years later, and LaBeouf later dated FKA Twigs. After that relationship ended, he and Goth reconciled in March 2020. They later welcomed Isabel, with LaBeouf confirming the birth in emails shared in August 2022 amid controversy surrounding his departure from “Don’t Worry Darling.”
“I have a little girl, Isabella; she is five months old and just starting to develop the last half of her smile; it is AMAZING,” he wrote. “Mia, my wife & I have found each other again and are on the journey to a healthy family with mutual love and respect.”
At the time, his words painted an optimistic picture of their reunion and life as new parents.
LaBeouf has previously credited Goth with helping to save his life

LaBeouf also spoke emotionally about Goth during a September 2022 appearance on the “Real Ones with Jon Bernthal” podcast. “She saved my fcking life,” he said while talking about her support during his rehab. “She was there at a time when I didn’t deserve anyone in my life, especially her. She gave me hope when I was really running on fumes.”
He described his father as the “ultimate parole officer” and admitted that being a parent made him think about his public reputation. “There’s a lot I need to work on,” LaBeouf explained. “Do you have a daughter and you know that one day your daughter is going to search your name in a search engine and see that you are a disgusting, disgusting, beating piece of sh-t. I have now until she is literate to form a relationship with her where she knows me better than this idea of who I am in the public.”
After further disputes, including assault charges in February 2026, it emerged that Goth and LaBeouf had quietly parted ways the previous year and Goth has now taken the next legal step.
