Meghan Markle she reportedly made one thing very clear to her father who was lost in the last letter she ever sent him: he would never meet her children.
According to a Saturday report from The SunThe Duchess of Sussex, 45, sent her father away Thomas Markle Sr., 82, letter last December while he was hospitalized in the Philippines after a broken leg caused by a blood clot. But this message was not an attempt at reconciliation. Far from it, indeed.

The outlet reports that Meghan confronted her father about child abuse allegations, telling him that she knew about the allegations and that the authorities were aware of the alleged behaviour. She said she told him he would never meet the two children she shares with him Prince Harry – 7 years old Prince Archie and 5-year-old Princess Lilibet of charge – and that he would never hear from him again.
And it seems that Meghan wanted to confirm that her message was received. according to The Sunshe arranged for the hospital management to personally deliver the letter to Thomas’ bedside, obtain a signature acknowledging receipt, and record its acceptance.
Who…
The revelation comes amid disturbing allegations that Thomas had child sexual abuse material at his former home in Cebu, Philippines.
As we said before, Meghan’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. they reportedly found four large boxes containing hundreds, possibly thousands, of illegal photos, along with videos featuring underage girls. He reported his findings to authorities in July, including the F.B.I and child protection officers.
Thomas Jr. said The Sun earlier this week:
“What I saw made me sick to the stomach – all this stuff was dumped on me, and I didn’t know what to do. I knew right away that it was very illegal and would put me in jail for a long time if I didn’t get fired.
Thomas Sr. vehemently denied the allegations, calling them lies in a statement to the spokesperson Daily Mail Friday.
Meanwhile, Meghan revealed in a statement to People On Saturday she was told about disturbing allegations against her father years earlier, after a letter containing the allegations was sent to London Metropolitan Police.
She explained:
“That letter was later shared with me. It made disturbing and disturbing allegations against my father, and I was assured that these were being investigated.”
The Metropolitan Police have since confirmed they received the letter in January 2019 and sent it to Meghan’s office, but acknowledged the allegations were not shared with other law enforcement agencies. The department is now reviewing its handling of the case and considering whether to refer itself to Britain’s police watchdog.

Meghan’s representative attributed the discrepancy between her recollection of the 2018 timeline and police records from 2019 to passing time.
And as questions mount about what the authorities knew and when, Meghan has offered an explanation for her long-estranged father:
“I hope we now understand that, despite the distortions of some media publications over the years, there was one reason for any distance from my father and my choice not to allow him contact with our children: to protect them.”
The FBI has also confirmed that it is aware of the allegations and will assist Philippine authorities as appropriate while investigating any possible violations of US law.
The allegations against Thomas remain unproven, of course. But Meghan’s last letter makes it clear how firmly she had decided to close the door on their relationship.
