“There’s still some tension around West,” an insider told Us Weekly at the time. “If Amanda comes back for a second season of the show, the cast wouldn’t be particularly welcoming to her. They’re not her friends in real life. They don’t like her because of what happened to her.” [him and Ciara Miller]. They are friends with Ciara and [Kyle Cooke] and be loyal to them… [and] you’re not interested in being friends with him, even Amanda.”
As fans know, Amanda and West went public with their relationship just two months after Amanda and Kyle confirmed their split, and amid West’s alleged attempts to patch things up with ex-flame Ciara.
While Amanda starred in a full-time role on In the City season one, the source went on to say that it was possible she wouldn’t be asked to return for season two.
“Amanda might not be on the show next season, and Bravo might want her to take a break for a bit,” the insider said. “No one in the team is really talking to them yet.”
Chief Bravo Josh Brown He also talked about season two, telling The Hollywood Reporter that it was “too early to talk about” whether or not Amanda would return.
“Anything is always possible, but there are no plans for anything at this time about anything … We’re getting our heads around where to go from here, so it’s too early to talk about casting for season 2,” he explained. “We’re so grateful for everything she’s done so far, and we really care about her, but it’s just too early to talk like that. It’s too soon.”
