In an interview with the Daily Mail published on October 8, Snyder said that Ken Urker had been dealing with online threats and concerns about his personal safety before his death. The official cause of his death has not been confirmed, and authorities said the case remains under investigation, with no signs of foul play at the time.

After his passing, Snyder paid tribute to his brother in an emotional TikTok post that included photos of the two. In her caption on October 7, she expressed how difficult it was to find the words to describe her grief, saying she wished she could revisit their last conversation. She closed the tribute by saying goodbye to her big brother.
