Heather Gay emphasizing her shocking news Real Housewives of Salt Lake City costar Whitney Rose filed for divorce from her husband, Justin Rose.
“I was shocked, I really was,” Heather, 52, said on the Wednesday, October 7, edition of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “I really thought it was a chapter of difference but I was surprised.”
She said, “I’ve texted Whitney. Divorce is very, very hard. It was really hard for me. I can’t imagine navigating it now with the public and personal and the kids and everything. I’m just rooting for her and thinking about her.”
Wednesday, Us obtained court documents confirming that Whitney, 39, formally filed divorce papers in Utah after 16 years of marriage to Justin, 58. Whitney filed a proposed parenting plan for the former couple’s two children, daughter Bobbie, 16, and son Brooks, 13.
Heather revealed that she first learned about her cousin’s divorce filing during a live interview with SiriusXM. Fact checked earlier in the day.

Us confirmed in July that Whitney and Justin had split two months earlier. Whitney appeared to him Us in September that she and Justin were still “nesting” with their children despite their split.
