Gypsy Rose Blanchard reportedly gave details of the last phone conversation with Ken Urker
According to US Weekly, on Monday, October 5, Blanchard took to her Instagram story. Here, to share a few words with the public.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has reached out with love, prayers and condolences. I’m sorry I can’t answer every message, but please know that I see them and am so grateful,” she wrote before directing the public to her petition against cyberbullying.
On Saturday, October 3, Blanchard spoke exclusively to US Weekly, revealing her last conversation with Ken Urker.
“In my last phone conversation with Kenneth on Monday, September 28, he told me that he was frustrated with the situation,” she said, referring to the dispute she has with his sister Autumn. “[He] he said that Autumn had repeatedly threatened to ‘go harder’ in public and add more to the negative reporting and scrutiny he was already receiving. Those were Ken’s statements to me, and I can only speak to what he said personally.”
In a separate statement, Blanchard recently took on Autumn telling the Daily Mail that she lied about being engaged to Urker and that they were planning baby number 2. In addition, Autumn said that her brother was “scared” that Blanchard wouldn’t keep their daughter safe, and that she was “disgusted” by her. Additionally, Autumn even claimed that Blanchard hadn’t even contacted their mother after Urker’s death, according to US Weekly.
“At this time, I do not want the focus around Ken’s death to be focused on negativity or disagreements between Autumn and I. It is no secret that Autumn did not approve of Ken’s relationship with me, and there has been great tension between us, including the public comments she made about me in the months before his death. With Autumn, these communications have been positive and respectful during a very painful time,” she said.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s ex Ryan Anderson responds to Urker’s Passing
Meanwhile, on Friday, October 2, Ryan Anderson, Gyspy Rose Blanchard’s ex-husband, accepted the death of Ken Urker. Per US Weekly, Anderson appeared on ‘The Sarah Fraser Show,’ and said he found out about Urker’s death through Instagram.
“I found out through Instagram. I didn’t believe it at first. I didn’t like it,” he said.
In addition, Anderson noted that he was shocked. Then he began to wonder how it happened.
“My immediate reaction was, ‘How’s Gypsy?’ My immediate thought was, ‘How is she doing. And what about their children?” he remembered.
As the conversation continued, Anderson admitted that he “never saw eye to eye” with Urker. However, he still hated to hear that Urker had died. At the end, he explained that he and Blanchard had not spoken in a year. So, he called her father to make sure everyone was okay.
“I texted Rod, her dad. I said, ‘Hey man, I’m hearing this news. If it’s true, tell Gypsy I’m sorry. I’m here if she needs me.’ I was always someone who would make her smile when she was sad or comfort her,” Anderson said.
In the end, Anderson noted that Blanchard and her daughter were her “primary concern.”
“[My] Aurora and Gypsy and his family are the main concern. I care. I wish her all the best,” he said.
