Guy Ritchie’s 123-minute war thriller has officially been crowned Video Mega-Hit

Guy Ritchie has been as busy this year as almost any year of his career, but things are finally slowing down as the holiday season is almost here. Ritchie brought his talents to Prime Video at the start of the year for Young Sherlockthe Sherlock Holmes prequel series that was dropped as a rag back in March. Prime Video has already picked up the show for a second season, and it is expected to return to streaming by the end of 2027. Ritchie also returned to the big screen this year with a release In the Greythe long-running action thriller starring Henry Cavill. The film only managed $28 million at the global box office, but is quietly becoming one of the biggest streaming hits on Starz.

Over the years, Guy Ritchie has directed dozens of films, and with this many claims in his film, it is only natural that some of the films are going to be flops. One of the biggest box office bombs of his career, and also one of the most surprising, came just a few years ago when he was working with Jake Gyllenhaal and The Boys veteran Antony Starr forward The Covenantthe war thriller currently streaming on Prime Video. The Covenant It cost $55 million to make, meaning the film had a break-even point of over $100 million, but it only grossed $21 million during its entire runmaking it one of Ritchie’s most famous flops. However, the film has found redemption in the last few years on streaming, and has been in the top 10 on Prime Video for more than 30 days now.

Four action sequences. One is built around just how to handle stress, people, and a room that has just gone very quiet. This is where you would live in the trilogy, and you might as well put a head on it.

2014-2023John WickJohn Wick to Chapter 4Suitable for the line. No movement past it.

You are insanely detailed. You don’t stand, you don’t go up, and you don’t warn anyone twice. That’s why the people who know you are so careful that it’s not the reason you start. Why would you succeed here

  • Wick movies run on discipline: an underworld with extreme manners, a hero who respects every rule of it, and a world that unravels as soon as someone breaks one against him.
  • You share that quality. You are extremely reasonable up to the line, and then completely unapproachable beyond.
  • Focus, commitment and sheer will. You would be the one who would carry sadness through three layers and turn it into a technique rather than a sound.
  • People wouldn’t call you dangerous. They would quietly say your name and let him do the job.

2001-2023Fast & FuriousThe Fast and the Furious to Fast XThe mission can wait. He can’t barbecue.

You understand what the whole franchise is secretly about: the cars are amazing, but the team is the point. You collect people, hold them, and you would drive through a building for any of them. Why would you succeed here

  • This series went from street racing to orbit without changing its real theme, because loyalty scales and plot do not need.
  • You have the same instinct. You build a family out of whoever shows up, and then you protect it beyond reason.
  • You would succeed here because the franchise rewards your strengths: warmth, nerve, an absolute refusal to leave anyone behind, and a relaxed relationship with physics.
  • The mission can wait. He can’t barbecue.

1996-2025Mission: ImpossibleMission: Impossible to the Final CountdownYou never handed over the cliff.

You prepare in advance and then take the risky part yourself anyway. It sounds like control, but it really depends. You have never worked out how to ask someone else to bear the risk. Why would you succeed here

  • This is the franchise of the plan that falls according to schedule: the team, the mask, the roof, and the only person sprinting out because sprinting is all that remains.
  • You share that refusal to accept a product. You stated the possibilities, you treat them as an administrative error.
  • You would succeed here because these films reward skill and loyalty in equal measure. The mission is important, but no one on the team is left on the wrong side of the door.
  • Some dedicate the rock. You were never that person.

1988-2013A hard deathDie hard to a good day to die hardYou refused to be the one who let it happen.

You are not the most trained person in the building, the best equipped, or the one that anyone would have chosen. You’re just the one still standing at the end, and that’s the only qualification that matters. Why would you succeed here

  • Die Hard invented the modern action hero by making him deadly: outnumbered, unplanned, beaten, and incredibly funny about it.
  • You share that stubbornness. Adversity doesn’t make you noble, it makes you sore, and then it makes you unstable.
  • You would succeed here because these films reward improvisation, and you didn’t enjoy preparing anyway.
  • You didn’t want any of this. You refused to be the one who let it happen.
