After a shockingly low score at Horror Movie Night, Sosa took to his Instagram to share a very emotional post for his dance partner. “This one’s for you, Julia,” he captioned the photos of the two of them.

The 25-year-old reminded Stiles that she should be proud of what she did during the week, saying that he didn’t think people fully understood what it took to get on the dance floor.

Sosa went on to give a little insight into what it took, citing an extremely painful injury, missing two full days of rehearsals, and reworking almost the entire routine. He said they completely changed the opening just the day before the show, making it one of their most challenging weeks.

“And if you know Julia, you know this girl is a FIRECRACKER. Even through the pain, she just wanted to keep going. I was literally the one who had to tell her to STOP and relax. That’s just who she is. She gives it her all.”

He then had personal words for the “10 Things I Hate About You” star, wishing she could see herself through his eyes.

“Because what I see is a woman with so much strength, heart, and determination. Someone who refuses to give up, even when the odds are stacked against her,” Sosa wrote.

Sosa then reminded his followers how easy it is to judge a few minutes on TV without knowing everything that went into it, encouraging them to lead with kindness and grace.

He also commented on their low grade, writing, “I don’t love and respect you because of our scores or how well practice goes. I love and respect you because of who you are when things don’t go perfectly.”

He noted that the number would be forgotten years down the line, but they will not forget how hard they fought and how they got through it together.

Julia Stiles And Ezra Sosa Join ‘DWTS’ Rehearsal

The heartfelt message comes as encouragement to the supporters of the two after they defied the rehearsals that week when the pressure came on them.

Per The Blast, the tension started as they practiced their Argentine tango to “The Dogs Attack” from the 1976 horror film “The Omen”.

Sosa recognized the competition ahead, with Jenna Dewan and Amber Glenn tackling the same dance style, and she wanted Stiles to give his best. However, Stiles became overwhelmed, pushing back at Sosa: “I just don’t respond well to frustration.”

The 45-year-old had no problem with asking him to improve, but with how the corrections were delivered.

During Super Bowl Night”, the pair recreated a dance scene from the film to Jennifer Lopez’s hit song “Jenny From The Block”

Despite initial doubts about whether the judges would like it, the two decided to trust their gut, which seemed to pay off in the end. Both scored season-high points after the delivery.

After a tango to Teddy Swims’ “The Door,” Stiles and Sosa scored 16 out of 30 and some feedback from judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

When asked how she felt after the show, the young star revealed that she didn’t feel good about it, explaining that it didn’t matter how good the rehearsal was; All that mattered was what was on television.

However, she had positive words for Sosa, thanking him for being so supportive, patient and empathetic to her while she had a big “cry fest” at the disappointing comments.

Stiles paid a heartfelt tribute to her “10 Things I Hate About You” love interest, Heath Ledger, as reported by The Blast.

“I have so many great memories,” Stiles said of the commitment, “but I’m also sad because I really wish I could pick up the phone and be like, ‘Hey dude, people really care about that movie. We did something special,’ And I can’t do that.”
