Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 5-9, 2026 explode with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) confessing to all sorts of crimes as well as Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) risking an overdose when she prepares drugs trying to beat that nerve-racking test.
Also, the week of October 5th-9th, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) wants answers, Philip Kiriakis is in grave danger, and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) ponders where to go from here. Let’s get right into it. Days of Our Lives spoilers: Lani & Holly tell their story
Wednesday, September 30th Days of Our Lives. Lani and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) appear on Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) first podcast episode of Stark raving mad. He interviews Holly first. It’s about her attempted mugging and how brave Lani kicked the muggers’ butt. That same day, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) asks Lani to consider what she wants to do next. If Paulina Price is able to get Lani forgiven, that should clear the way for her career prospects. And we know Lani misses working in law enforcement. Holly’s guilt is eating away at her.
Maybe sounds like this link back to all the harassment of Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and that what Mason said about Sophia’s death is her fault. Related to this drama, Tate Donovan Black (Leo Howard) runs into Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) and may be confronting him about his girlfriend Holly.
We hope that Tate is not going to press any charges about these texts but we will see. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is upset that her son Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) risked addiction by gambling again. Not only that, but Leo got Philip to agree. But they are going to help Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) in a way that could put Philip in danger again.
DOOL Spoilers: Brady Steps Up for Marlena
Thursday, October first Days of Our Lives. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is supported by the bonus son Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), who promises not to breathe her secret to anyone. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) already told Marlena that he had to tell Brady, because he is Black Pattern partner, about the whole Dominic Marino thing. Philip confesses to Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).
Did Philip gamble more or is this him proactively telling Maggie that he promised Leo that he would help with the money? GabiChic purse? That could lead Philip to gamble more to gain the trust of the breakers. Steve discusses his latest theory with Belle Black (Martha Madison). Steve has to be careful what he says because he can’t tell Belle about Marlena’s alleged affair with Dominic. Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) holds a press conference about her Destiny wrongful death lawsuit.
Her family is suing University Hospital and Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). And of course Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Sarah, and Brady know that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is behind this but they can’t stop him. Joy is in great danger. Her father, Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas), put her muscles to rest and Joy was trying to look up the dose that could be taken to cheat the nerve test. But she wasn’t getting good search results so she might take too much because she really wants to make a fool of Kayla Brady (Máiri Beth Evans). Does Joy experience side effects?
Days of Spoilers: EJ in Bad Shape
Friday, the second of October Days of Our Lives. EJ’s frustration grows after Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) quits because as she told Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Cat is trying to manipulate EJ into chasing after her. Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) listens and EJ opens up to her but he is flying blind. EJ has no idea that Rita’s loyalty has shifted to Dominic now. Also, this week, Marlena ends Rita and says, “You have to tell me the truth about Dominic Marino.” Marlena asks Rita – is he my son? Also, Johnny confesses to Rafe.
But what exactly is Johnny admitting? He told his sister Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) that he felt like he had to turn in for the stuff that was going on at DiMera Enterprises. And shortly after that conversation, Johnny called Rafe and asked to meet. Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) throws Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) a shower, even though she told Mama P she didn’t want to be showered. Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) hosts at her house. Marlena, Sydney, Lani, and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) are also there. Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) was also invited.
Abe cracks up and then Chanel notices that everyone else is too. And when everyone gets their laughs, Chanel asks Lani why they’re all laughing so hard. I think Paulina accidentally grabbed the pot brownies. Maybe that’s why Sydney makes a surprising blunder. I wonder if she’s referring to Johnny wanting to turn EJ in to the cops. Julie has some alone time with Marlena at Chanel’s baby shower and encourages them. But will Marlena tell her the horrible truth about her alleged son, Dominic, that she can’t remember? Maybe Marlena is just saying that she has a hard time with everything without John Black by her side.
DOOL Spoilers: Rita withholds information from Marlena
October 5-9th Days of Our Lives. Rita certainly knows more about Dominic Marino than she lets on. But I’m sure she’ll only tell Marlena what Dominic gave her permission to say. Kate and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) may suspect something is up with Marlena. I’m interested to see if she fills them in. Because Roman and Kate were on the island at the same time? To see if they remember Marlena being pregnant there.
EJ doubles over and pushes Xander back and keeps focusing on Sarah. But maybe Sydney will confront EJ about Johnny. As a lawyer, Sydney didn’t want to know too much or have to testify. But Sydney loves her big brother Johnny and she sees that he is struggling. Let’s see what Rafe can get out of Johnny and will he get immunity or risk arrest? Then again, maybe Johnny will decide to blame it all on George so that he and EJ can come out unscathed. Philip and Leo dig deeper into the fake bag case soon.
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Leo spends time with Javi
Let’s see if EJ is behind that mess too? Or someone else? I wouldn’t be surprised if this is another Dominic scheme to hit on EJ. Leo and Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) go out for a second date. Maybe Leo wants Javi to come on the podcast because he’s one of them SalemThey are a hero as well. Philip is still waiting for that gambling money to come in because EJ was just encouraging Xander that the loan was on Titan‘ coming soon and he should focus on that instead of the patient that EJ says Sarah neglected.
Maybe Belle and Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) will get another clue. Steve has a theory and I suspect that Dominic is playing his game so he can sneak into Salem to harass Marlena and the DiMeras. And I expect Dominic to sweep in during a sweep that begins on October 29th. Holly receives more suspicious text messages. Sarah needs Justin’s help to stop Melinda’s accusations in the civil suit. And Steve and Brady are working double duty – Dominic’s case and how to prove that EJ manipulated the medical record.
