Days of Our Lives brings drama as time is running out to bust Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) latest mystery scion Salem. And we suspect Dominic Marino may be his next bad guy Days of Our Livesa very evil villain who goes in to take over his family and everyone Salem to fulfill Stefano’s dark legacy.
Days of Our Lives: The Chess Set Mystery
So, the first time we heard this guy’s name was in conjunction with the purchase of the Kiriakis mansionwhen Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) signed him. Dominic was also behind a chess mystery that Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) have been investigating. So, it seems that Stefano wanted Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to find out that he had a child with Marlena.
We know that Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) has been helping Dominic for a few months now. DiMera’s hen wife is the one who has been dropping these ads, and they got Chad and Belle to Italywith EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) tagging along for the ride. The three made it to Dominic’s palazzo, but the mysterious man was nowhere to be found, but he was watching from nearby. So, Belle and Chad were there examining the chess set.

But EJ wanted to know who Dominic was, because he put a snake on him Kiriakis mansion and bought it from Xander before And then he noticed that Stefano’s favorite drink and cigarettes were there. He pointed out Dad’s favorites to Chad. And then Belle and the boys saw a chess set identical to the one given to Marlena. And sure enough, hidden inside the secret compartment was a picture of a cute young boy in Stefano’s arms with the year 1992 written on the back. That was enough for Belle, Chad, and EJ to be more confused than ever and wonder if Dominic was in the picture.
Days of Our Lives: Dominic’s Birth Certificate Shocker
Hints have been dropped for a while about Stefano and Marlena’s big secret, but it wasn’t until Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) set out to find Dominic’s birth certificate that we learned the alleged truth. Dominic Marino DiMera is Stefano and Marlena’s long lost son, unless something is hidden.
Obviously, Stefano knew about their son all along, but his queen of the night, Marlena, doesn’t remember being pregnant. She is still unsure if she had Stefano’s son, and Rita would not give Marlena the answers she asked for. This week, Belle finally heard the shocking birth certificate from Mama Marlena. Besides, Steve knows, since then Black Pattern doing more research. We also had EJ questioning Rita about what he heard from her and Marlena talking about Dominic.
And EJ asked to find out if it was Dominic’s brother, but Rita has not confirmed anything to Marlena or EJ. And Marlena knows that the only way to know for sure if Dominic is her son is to get a DNA test. But in Salemcan a DNA test ever be trusted?
Days: Dante Vitali arrives in Salem
So, we know that time is running out, and Dominic is going to show up Salem sooner rather than later to take its rightful place in the DiMera family, perhaps at its head. I expect we will meet him during the sweep, which will begin on October 29 and last for four weeks. Nobody in the family knew Dominic. He grew up in Italynot inside Salem.
It can’t be a coincidence that Marlena’s daughter, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), is now engaged to Dominic’s boarding school best friend, Dante Vitali (Franco LoPresti), and he surprised Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) this week. Dante appeared unexpectedly, and wanted to meet EJ. But Dante then began to take care of some business. Before he left, he told Sydney that Dominic would be coming Salem soon, but I wasn’t sure when. Dante said, even if he and Dominic don’t keep in close contact, he is coming soon, and they are still friends.
Dante told Sydney how good Dominic is. He considers him his best friend. But we know Dante is lying about part of that, because Dominic and Dante worked together to make sure the game was leveled. Thus, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) could not win the poker game, as Dante was under Dominic’s orders to ensure that Philip could not win enough to stop the sale of Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) mansion.
Days of Our Lives: The Battle for Kiriakis Mansion
I suspect Dante is in Salem to oversee the transfer of the Kiriakis home to Dominic’s property. Let’s see if the plot cooked Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Susanne Rogers) with the works of Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). They teamed up with Xander and Philip, as well as Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) to destroy the mansion. They hope that will stop the sale from closing on the home.
But maybe Dominic still wants the house and might tell Dante, “Hire a construction crew to gut and clean the place.” It’s horrible to think about, but the Kiriakis house may fall into the hands of Stefano 2.0. But if Dominic can’t get the Kiriakis home, he might take over the the DiMera estate and push EJ right out of it. I guess Dominic wants the Kiriakis house to carry on Stefano’s legacy of hatred against Victor. And Dominic getting the house means he did something EJ could never do Days of Our Lives.

Additionally, EJ is shaken because of Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Corysal admit And we know that Rita called in the tip of the handbag against Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) arrest. So, it’s loose now, but we now have confirmation that Rita and EJ are behind the scam Gabi Chic products. And honestly, Rita might be setting EJ up.
Maybe Dominic is a real villain like Salem That hasn’t been the case since Clyde Weston (James Read) was killed and put into a coma. A bad guy who refuses to play nice, even with his own family. Maybe Dominic doesn’t care if people hate him. It may be that they would be afraid of him, and that he would not care to be freed. Maybe he’s just like his father, Stefano, an unapologetically wicked man.
Days of Our Lives: Dominic’s Mommy Affairs
And of course, this will devastate Marlena to no end, especially without John by her side to face this horror. Marlena would never have agreed to have a child with Stefano. I expect Dominic to have major mommy issues since he was raised as a secret from Marlena. There is no telling what Stefano told Dominic about Marlena. So maybe Dominic will come to town hating Belle, Sami, and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) because they had Marlena in their lives growing up.
And maybe Dominic feels it’s his time now that Stefano has been confirmed dead. It also already seems that Dominic is taking everything that EJ wants. The Kiriakis mansionand maybe Dominic wants too Titan. So EJ circles the drain, and Dominic makes Rita do his dirty work. That’s been going on for months, with Stefano and Victor both dead and gone. Honestly, it’s high time Salem got another slayer who was really despicable and ruthless.
Days of Our Lives: Stefano 2.0 shares the DiMeras
And it will be interesting to see how the DiMeras split between themselves, because EJ is not a family favorite, and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) may side with Dominic over EJ. And I wonder if Belle, Sami, and Eric will accept Dominic as their brother. Even Marlena is having a hard time accepting that this could be true. And we know that family loyalty was huge for Stefano, and it’s definitely a thing in Marlena’s tribe as well.
Dominic’s introduction is not illegal. He doesn’t pretend to be a good person. He has Marlena, Belle, and Chad on a wild goose chase. Dominic is robbing Maggie’s home, and his best friend just so happens to be involved with Sami. None of these are good signs. Additionally, Rita took the Phoenix ring that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) gave to EJ and sent it to Dominic. It’s on his hand now. And once EJ sees it on Dominic’s hand, he gets angry. Dominic may be the real Stefano 2.0 and villainous in ways EJ didn’t even imagine.
