Carmella Garcia she looked back at the peace with him Vicki Gunvalson after a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County she was seen telling the OG that “everything has an end.”
As Heather Dubrow57, admitted it was a “fine line”. Emily Simpson50, that it was an “appropriate response” to Vicki’s criticism of Carmella’s parenting, and Shannon Beador62, that Carmella, 44, had “every right to be upset,” Carmella described Vicki’s treatment of her as “arrogant” and “very nice” when Vicki, 64, told her to “sit down.”
“I came out, and I think right,” Carmella said on the Sept. 24 episode of RHOC: After the show.
Then, after saying that the team should have been more surprised when Vicki said she was a “sh*tty mom” than when she suggested Vicki had an expiration date, Carmella admitted that she could appreciate Vicki’s status and long history with the Real Housewives licensing.
Carmella also praised Vicki as “funny” and admitted that she thought they would form a friendship.
“I really thought we were going to hit a place where we would really move forward together… “It feels like a hierarchy. He feels that she is up here; she is the only one who can win. She is the only one who can work. Everyone else is under him, and I don’t run like that. I think it’s awesome.
Among the dispute they had last week RHOCCarmella said she was trying to explain to Vicki that just because someone new, because she was on season 20, doesn’t give her the right to attack them.
“I was trying to help her understand that if you were new, it wouldn’t be okay for me to treat you like that, and she took that as an opportunity to pull a standard and be like, ‘I started this franchise,’ and I’m like, ‘You need to get down because nobody cares,'” Carmella recalled.
Meanwhile, Vicki pointed out that Carmella will also have an expiration date.
“One day I’m going to die, and it’s going to be a date. I mean, I don’t know what her point was in that. She’s a rude woman, she really is, and I would never say that to her face. I will,” she said. “She comes in too hard and too strong. The girl has to sit down. I’m not really worried. I’m not losing sleep over her.”
As for the rest of the team, Emily said that Vicki was “[hadn’t] hasn’t ended yet” as she admitted that Vicki will always be “the OG and the OG of housewives in general because obviously there wouldn’t be any other Housewife franchise without Orange County.”
“She has that title,” Emily said.
Then, Gina Kirschenheiter42, said Vicki’s title was a “double-edged sword”.
“Because Carmella really needs to be like, f*ck you, but thank you too. It’s a weird thing… [But] i guess [Carmella] You could have said much worse sh*t. She was kind, I think. She was going after her like a mother,” she said.
Also on the After Show, Shannon praised Carmella for going up to bat with Vicki.
“Carmella had every right to be upset with the conversation that was taking place. I mean, she’s not afraid and I appreciate that,” she said.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 20 on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
