In this season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake Cityfans see Bronwyn Newport after separating from Todd Bradley.
They also recently watched Bronwyn, 41, take her co-stars on a trip to San Francisco. At a party she threw for her mates to meet her old friends from when she lived there, Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks He stood up and sang an original song called “Hypocrisy and Bulls*it.” This did not sit well with Bronwyn.
She kicked them both out of her party because of the song, but they went to another area of the venue where they wanted to do a concert.
While appearing at last weekend’s Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, Bronwyn opened up about her co-stars.
“You know, it’s always different filming it than watching it back,” she said. “And I work with… a group of women who like to wait until I’m out of the room to tell me how they feel about me.”
She noted that it was a “very good thing” to see him back because there are things she was not aware of.
“It was really intense when I lived there,” she said, because her father had died and she was getting a divorce.
“I was trying to do everything to be happy … but I didn’t know I was in the hot seat … the whole cast did an interview and they said I was in the hot seat – so, I’ll see you at the reunion, ladies..”
In an interview with e-talkBronwyn sheds more light on Lisa, 51.
“Good for the beautiful baby,” she said. “Yeah. Really proud of ourselves. Where we were, really, there were people who have been important to me over the years, and I was trying to give the girls a better understanding and taste of who I am, and that just wasn’t happening this time in a way that was very disappointing for me and felt really heavy because I was trying to start a new chapter and close an old one and everything was crashing in immediately.”
“And then there was this real push of like, this song is about you,” she said of “Hypocrisy and Bulls*it,” adding, “And Whitney saying, “Don’t laugh, it’s about her, it’s about her.” And I hear her say that and then, you know, HeatherIt’s kind of like, ‘Shut this down, it’s your party, take control.’ And I think I got out of control. So it was, I mean, it’s always offensive when someone ruins a moment that you want to be special, and I’m just so happy that Lisa is still so proud of that all these months later. Zero, you know, self-reflection, compassion, human kindness, social norms.”
While on a panel at Bravo Fan Fest, Bronwyn also talked about who she feels has changed the most since the beginning of the show.
“I wasn’t an OG, so I didn’t see them from the beginning, but I knew the girls outside of the show before I joined, and obviously Lisa and I’s friendship has gone to hell and back,” she said. “Well, not back, really; maybe not back. And I knew it Angie a little bit too, and I’m always shocked by things that come out of Angie’s mouth when we’re doing the show, or she said something nasty about me in the papers the other day, and that’s not the Angie that I knew in the kind of charity world, you know, in Salt Lake before we did the show together.”
new sections of RHOSLC airs every Wednesday at 8pm ET on Bravo.
