On Friday, October 23, Ethan’s wife and “H3 Podcast” cohost, Hila Kleinpublicly accused him of having a six-month affair in an Instagram post. The couple married in 2012 and have three sons, Theodore, 7, Bruce, 4, and Sunny, 2.

“I’m living a nightmare I can’t wake up from,” wrote Hila, 38. “My husband has been having an affair. I’ve been fed lie after lie for months. I’m tired of lies. This is the truth.”

Hila said she could “feel something was wrong” in their relationship and “tried to ask [Ethan] questions and share my concerns and hurt feelings,” but “I was met with negative responses and no action. Things that bothered me continued to bother me, and he did nothing about it. So I trusted him. because I loved him.”

“Finally, he was caught in a lie, and I knew it was made up. But the lies continued. It was ‘just a kiss’ to ‘it was emotional cheating,'” she wrote. “After I dragged those lies out of him, he finally admitted that he had been in a relationship for over 6 months, and I’m sure I still don’t know.

Ethan responded in an Instagram Story on Friday, writing, “I know a lot of people are understandably looking for an opinion from me, but I ask that you respect my family’s privacy and not contact them looking for me or asking for their opinion.”

“They have nothing to do with this and they share your frustration and disappointment. Thank you,” he said, noting that the “H3 Podcast” was going on an “indefinite hiatus.”

The production team behind the “H3 Podcast” released their own statement, saying they stood by Hila.

“We are disappointed by what Ethan did and the injury he caused,” the podcast team said via Instagram. “We all deserved better: Hila, us, and you. As soon as we found out, we all agreed: we would not continue to work with Ethan involved or profit in any way. We still don’t know what that means for the future. There’s a lot to work through, and we wish we had more answers for you.”
