Beyond the Gates two week spoilers for October 5th-16th where we see Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) scared when Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) delivers some very good news.
Plus, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) can’t stop inspiring people and has a new weapon in her arsenal. Also, we have Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) crossing lines on purpose and Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) calling someone out.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Deanna turns to Nicole
Monday, October 5th Beyond the Gateswe have Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) putting on her shrink hat to deliver a reality check to Deanna McBride (Angela Fairley). As longtime musician Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli), Nicole has known Deanna all her life, and she’s definitely a good person for the young woman to turn to. Meanwhile, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) is asking some questions.
Nicole is already on fire and assumes that Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) is the reason Vanessa was attacked and that some other people might start raising questions. Anita’s homecoming tailgate party starts at the Dupree home and then everyone ends up on the party bus going to the game. Nicole has Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan) there as one and another and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) takes Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson).
BTG Spoilers: Bill won’t take Hayley back
So, that’s an interesting interaction. Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) are also there despite their problems. Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning), Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon), and their children are there. Kat and Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla), Jacob and Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) are all there, as well as Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe).
Vernon shares disturbing news with Anita. And Dani gets the cold shoulder, and maybe it’s from her husband Andre, who is still not happy that his wife can’t step away from Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett). Meanwhile, Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) thinks she has Bill over a barrel, but he’s not going to take it back. He is going to try to make Hayley better in this new town that they are destroying.
Naomi and Jacob get their marriage on the right track. They agree to focus on the most important things. Of course, this Smitty investigation is an issue, especially now that she’s his lawyer. So, despite being on opposite sides, navigating this family crisis, Jacob and Naomi are going to prioritize their marriage.
Beyond the Gates spoilers: Tyrell drops a bombshell
Martin and Smitty are happy to have Tyrell Richardson (Jaden Lucas Miller) back with them for homecoming, but then he drops some news that will hit his family hard. So, I wonder if Tyrell has met a new girl or maybe he misses Jessica so much that he wants to transfer schools to be with her.
At the Dupree party, we have Izaiah asking Kat if she is flying alone, and she says that Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) is unfortunately tied up in court. And Izaiah tells her that Eva Thomas Richardson (Ambyr Michelle) is busy too. And then Kat gets a moment and says, “I promise you won’t even miss her.” So, they’re all very giggly together, and I think they’re going to get a little side-eye. Vernon tells everyone that today is a day to be happy, a celebration of historically black colleges and universities. So, it seems he wants to put the family drama aside.
BTG Spoilers: Jacob goes to Isaiah
Tuesday, October 6 on Beyond the Gates. We found Jacob coming to Isaiah. Now, Jacob likes Eva, and I don’t think he would like to see Izaiah getting all close to Kat at the party when Eva is nowhere to be found. Jacob can call Isaiah out because Jacob still suspects that Isaiah might be a troublemaker. Hayley makes a big score that could cost her even more in the long run. And Vernon takes care of Bill. I’m sure it’s about Hayley’s problem.
Nicole is blindsided by Anita and Dani when they deliver an update. So, I wonder if they are going to tell her about Hayley’s blackmail and Bill dropping the charges. This is a threat to Martin and so many of the Duprees. Chelsea will not be ignored when she delivers an important warning. And Leslie defends what she did. I’m sure it’s about getting rid of Hayley. And Eva is visibly shaken. So, Kat tells Eva something that seems to be designed to provoke her half-sister, and it’s probably about Izaiah.
Beyond the Gates spoilers: Hayley is in for a rude awakening
Wednesday, October 7 onwards Beyond the GatesHayley thinks she’s winning, but her false sense of security comes back to bite her when someone stands up and punches her when Leslie is distracted trying to reach her phone. Speaking of being distracted, Izaiah isn’t paying Eva full attention. And if this is about Cat, that means trouble.
We have Vernon coming to the rescue on Wednesday and Leslie loves the drama. She wants Hayley to cause total chaos for the Duprees. Dani pushes Bill, probably about not letting Hayley get away with it or not getting down on himself because Bill’s little wife was playing him. And Bill tells Dani that he has his life for her, whatever that life is from now on. And they have a good hook. Ted is devastated after Andre talks to him and Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) the dirty cop and Joey the dirty mob boss do some persuasion. So, maybe Hayley was plucked and maybe a come to Jesus session with her.
BTG Spoilers: Dani’s Past Dredged Up
Thursday 8 October Beyond the Gates. Andre brings up Dani’s history. I bet it’s about Bill. And Anita turns to music when she needs calm. Nicole is brutally honest with Vanessa about her risky lifestyle choices. And Hayley is screwing with Leslie. We also have Ted in cahoots with Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob). So maybe Ted wants Ashley’s help to arrange this amazing trip for Shanice.
And Noah offers Deanna a new way of looking at things after that reality check she got from Nicole earlier this week. Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) is tired of being in danger and pushes back at Joey saying, “I’m not going to want to.” And Joey tells Randy, “Oh, we’re way past begging,” and Joey points a gun at Randy.
Spoilers Beyond the Gates: Vernon Fesses Up
Friday, October 9th Beyond the GatesVernon comes clean with Anita and tells her a terrible truth, possibly about Hayley’s situation, and Vanessa and Joey freak out. Plus, Nicole plans to keep her promise, and this might be about keeping Vanessa safe from Joey.
Naomi refuses to give an inch, and this can be on Smitty’s case. And Madison Montgomery (Kenjah McNeil) supports Chelsea after taking a risk, and this could be with her trial. Smitty draws a line with Martin. I’m sure this ties back to the campaign and the issues facing Smitty, and Shanice and Ted starting a romantic path.
Then the week of the twelfth day of October through the sixteenth day Beyond the GatesJoey shakes Vanessa with a confession. Soon, she may find out who bought Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones). Town up and it’s the danger that Joey was vague about. And at some point, he has to tell Vanessa that Heather is the one who causes this danger because he has to wake Vanessa up to this danger.
BTG Spoilers: Life hangs in the balance
Someone’s life is on the line because of Hayley, and Martin is worried about how Smitty could be arrested because of fabricated evidence. More could be collected soon. Bill works to beat Hayley while leaning in closer to Dani. We saw that Bill vowed to turn the tables on Hayley, but the question is, will she kill him again?
Andre is almost at his breaking point. He finds it harder to avoid Heather and her terrifying attention. And Andre is also at his wit’s end as Dani is still attracted to her toxic ex, Bill. Even if he is out of the hospital, even if the poison is gone, Dani still shows up for him. Leslie takes frequent swipes at the Duprees using Hayley.
But I wonder if Anita’s words about Barraball will give Leslie any kind of guilt trip. Eva’s patience is wearing thin with Cat turning to Izaiah. Therefore, Eva can pressure Izaiah to be careful about what her sister is doing. Tom is also frustrated with Cat. And Hayley has Vernon, Joey, Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik), and others worried about the sword she has over their collective neck.
