Hi, Beyond the Gates fans, you have the spoilers for two weeks starting on October 12, where we will see Dana ‘Leslie’ Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) completely lose her mind when she receives news of a surprising development. Plus, Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) hits back when she’s excited about Leslie’s frustration.
We dive into what happens in the two weeks between October 12 – 23, including Carlton Fitzgerald’s (Robert Christopher Riley) life in danger, Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) making a big move, and Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) losing it.
Beyond the Gates: Nicole confesses to Dani
Monday, October 12th Beyond the Gateswe have Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) confessing to Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley). I wonder if Nicole is going to tell Dani that she gave Dr. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughn) a key to her place and the key to her heart. Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) are in defense mode. Vernon thinks Hayley Lawson’s (Marquita Goings) mess is almost over, but maybe not, and Smitty’s problem gets worse.
BTG Spoilers: Things get worse for Smitty
Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) prepares Bradley ‘Smitty’ Smith (Mike Manning) for what’s to come in case things get worse. And it looks like more evidence could emerge, as Heather is planning it, as Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) seeks new Impaler intel. So, he may be asking Smitty more questions soon.
And Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe) invites his father, Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik), to do something. I wonder if Izaiah wants Elon to spend some time with him and Eva Thomas Richardson (Ambyr Michelle). Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) feels like he’s won, but Hayley hits back at him now that the saw isn’t aimed at her neck.
Beyond the Gates: Shanice Connection News
Then Tuesday, October 13th Beyond the GatesShanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) feels overwhelmed, and Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) gets involved. This could be about work, or it could be after Shanice revealed her engagement to Ashley. We go to see Shanice back at work showing off her nice ring, and Ashley climbs and runs to stop Shanice.
And then Nicole joins Ashley, Shanice, and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) at the nurses’ station. And Nicole asks, “What are you celebrating?” And then she sees the ring on Shanice’s finger. And Nicole looks shocked as she says to Ted, “Oh, you’re engaged.” We are also going to see Nicole do one-eighty where Ted is concerned.
BTG Spoilers: Nicole struggles
Remember, a couple of months ago, Nicole was going to tell Ted that she had been fantasizing about him while having sex with Carlton, but then Nicole dropped it because he was getting a lot closer to Shanice. And I wonder if Nicole is going to stop being supportive of her new relationship. We may see Nicole jealous of Shanice getting a ring, despite the fact that Nicole is moving on with Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan) and gave him a key to her place.
Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) is waiting for news about his campaign, and Smitty feels embarrassed while he is also waiting. He’s very upset that his Impaler drama and Leah’s accusations could derail Martin’s campaign. Naomi tells Jacob to stop, and this may be about questioning Smitty.
And Samantha is pushing back on Tyrell Richardson (Jaden Lucas Miller), and maybe this is about going back to Francesca Chessy Belleclaire (Madison Alsobrook), who upset Samantha at the cotillion and stole her crown. Carlton’s fling with Heather is going bad. It looks like Carlton could be tied up or tied down. And Heather pulls a knife from a bedside table drawer. And Carlton panics and asks, “What the hell are you doing?” because Heather cuts the buttons on his shirt open.
Beyond the Gates: Vernon on Guard
Wednesday, October 14th Beyond the GatesVernon is on the defensive while dealing with Hayley’s still-unsolved situation. And they are leaving Bill out of this trip. So, this could be Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) and Vernon making sure they get everything from Hayley after she pulled something with Bill earlier this week.
Dani draws a line with Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla). Maybe she’s teasing her mother Dani about Bill. And Nicole reassures Samantha when some lies are spreading, perhaps about her father Smitty. Jacob is on fire, and Naomi is burdened. And maybe this is about the false evidence on Smitty.
Beyond the Gates: Heather Cozies Up to Hayley
Thursday, October 15th Beyond the GatesNicole and Anita are trying to see the bright side of things. They are both very worried about Hayley exposing Martin to get revenge on Bill. Furthermore, Martin prepares to make a statement, but then he is interrupted. Therefore, Martin may be stopped at the campaign event at Orphe Jeans because Vernon is there for him. And he calls Joey from Martin’s event and tells Joey, “We have a problem,” and Joey asks Vernon if it’s more Hayley’s problem.
Speaking of Bill’s psycho wife, Hayley may have met someone worse than her when she’s up Upper town. And Heather stands up next to Hayley. We know that Heather is trying to force Joey’s hand to get him closer, and Hayley has information that would be very useful to Heather. So, she tells the bartender at Upper town to get her new friend Hayley a new drink. And she asks how Heather knows her name. So, we could see her looking to make a quick alliance with psycho Hayley. And someone like Heather on her side could really help Hayley out of the tight spot she’s in.
Beyond the Gates spoilers: Joey makes a terrible entrance
Joey confesses something terrible to Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli). And it would be nice if Joey finally told Vanessa that Heather was the Impaler and that she might have been behind Vanessa’s car. Bill wants Dani back, and he and Ted talk about things they have in common. It was a great pleasure for Bill to reject Dani and rub Hayley in her face a year ago, but now Bill wants Dani back. And Ted wanted Nicole back for a while, but then he had to accept that he was done. And now Ted has moved on.
Naomi is planning. She wants a way to get the evidence they need. Perhaps this is a way to downplay the false evidence against Smitty or deal with the drama Jacob is facing.
Beyond the Gates: Leslie learns about Ted’s Engagement
Friday, October 16 Beyond the GatesAndre Richardson (Sean Freeman) snaps in front of Dani. I’m sure it’s about Bill. And Naomi surprised Bill. So, I wonder if Naomi is going to ask Bill to back away from Dani and leave her to her happy new life with Andre.
Leslie is very upset to hear about the development. And I suspect that’s when she finds out that Ted proposed to Shanice and they’re engaged. Eva loses her mind with Kat at Upper town. It seems that the siblings are considering their father Ted’s relationship with Shanice. And Kat tells Eva, now Leslie knows it’s game over for good. Eva calls Kat with a cold heart. And she tells Eva that she will proudly be cold-hearted when it comes to protecting her family.
Hayley tries to make things right with Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry). So it looks like Heather might make Hayley an offer, and maybe she’ll pull Randy into it. And of course, Heather would love that. She would like to use Randy against Joey, because Heather is making a move on Joey by the end of the week, and Hayley could be part of Heather’s new plan.
Smitty in Trouble and Dani Tempted on BTG
Then the week of October 19 – 23 onwards Beyond the GatesLeslie is about to reel after Ted finds out he proposed to Shanice. I expect Leslie to prey on Eva, who likes Shanice. Leslie may also criticize and criticize Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy), who may not be amused that Leslie is still very focused on her ex. Nicole’s strong response to Ted’s engagement may surprise her. It might surprise Kial too.
Smitty can be in for a spell as soon as Heather’s evidence against him mounts, and it seems he is convinced. Jacob’s problem. So is Martin. Carlton should run fast and far before Heather seriously injures him, but she might not let him go. Hayley may not be harmed and may be on Team Heather, but no matter how much Randy realizes that Heather is the Impaler, he’s going to be scared. Time is ticking down to Election Day, and Heather could drop more dirt right before they vote to ruin Martin’s campaign and Smitty’s horror.
Dani struggles with temptation, as Bill may soon make it clear that he wants to put their marriage back together. Of course, Dani loves Andre, but she seems to have a bit of a bone-deep addiction to badass Bill Hamilton, even though he treated her terribly. Samantha is worried that Chess has become closer to Tyrell, and she may think that Chess is using Tyrell to mess with her. But if Samantha suggests that, I’m sure Tyrell will be annoyed. In addition, it is vulnerable and has been reversed since Jessica moved off California.
