Jonathan Wright drops names as he reflects on who did and didn’t show up for him in prison
Jonathan Wright has been back on the internet since his release from prison in September. According to previous reports from The Shade Room, he was sentenced to a year in prison in December 2025 after the gun charge.
Now that it’s out, the internet celebrity hairdresser is speaking out after appearing on the ‘What Now’ podcast. In the interview, Jonathan told who did and did not show up for him while he was behind bars.
He named Asian Doll, Keyshia Cole, and Megan Thee Stallion while talking about the people he felt he let down. Jonathan said that their lack of support hurt and that it would have shown them if their situations were reversed.
He also mentioned Mellow Rackz as someone who stood up for him while he was in prison.

Asian Doll quickly responded to Jonathan’s comments.
The Dallas rapper took to her Instagram story and shared screenshots that appeared to show her reaching out to Jonathan while he was incarcerated. The messages seem to show her checking in and trying to keep in touch with him.
Asian pushed back against Jonathan also naming her best friend. She said they were never the best of friends and accused him of “lying” and “running away.”
She asked why Jonathan mentioned Megan Thee Stallion, saying the two hadn’t spoken in a long time. Asian also accused Jonathan of naming her, Megan, and Keyshia because he knew their names would attract attention online.
Asian pointed out the support she said she gave Jonathan, including sending him money, and questioned why he would call her after she tried to reach him while he was behind bars.
