Dorothy Wang revealed that she didn’t invite anyone to her wedding in a recent episode of Dorothy “I do,” the special five-part wedding she shot ahead of her wedding in Italy Brandon Yankowitzand fans are sure that that person is the former one Beverly Hills Rich Kids co-star, Morgan Stewart.
In recent episodes of the series, Dorothy, 38, has opened up about her falling out with this person, shared the email she sent them, and confirmed whether they wrote her back.
“I had to think about some things and come to a realization about some things, some people, and some relationships, and unfortunately I had a bad experience this weekend with someone,” Dorothy began episode three. “I feel bad because I invited someone because they were part of my history and they made it very obvious that they would like to be there and that they wanted to come to the wedding. And so, against my better judgment at the time, I invited them.
After deciding to include this person in her wedding to her husband, Brandon, 44, Dorothy had a strange encounter with them that convinced her they should not attend.
“I don’t think this person wants me in their life,” she admitted. “There are some people, and I think everyone has that, where people get away with more than they should because you’ve known them so long, or maybe you’re inviting them based on past history, or you’re inviting them because they’re really making an effort to get invited because they want to come, and then you realize that maybe they don’t even like you.”
As fans know, Dorothy and Morgan, 38, were friends for more than a decade.
“If I keep letting this person come and they do something that upsets me or upsets Brandon or my family or I hear that they did or said something afterwards, that they made my guest uncomfortable, or that they were mean to someone, I think I would never forgive myself,” she continued.
According to Dorothy, it became “glaringly obvious” that she shouldn’t have this man in her life after they ran into each other in New York City.
“I’ve had someone in my life for a long time who was having a public dinner in New York. They sent me a message a month before saying, “I’d like you to come to dinner. Are you available? I want to send you a product from the company.” And I said, ‘Great. I’ll be there.’ I was happy to support,” said Dorothy. “I get to dinner. I’m surprised because the people they gave me grief to be friends with are there, and we go to sit down, and I am clearly and deliberately placed far away from where they are sitting, far away from where my peers are sitting.”
“[They] I wanted there but I wanted to keep me in my place, which was far, far away in the corner of the table,” she remembered. This person is not comfortable with me, but when people brought up my wedding at dinner, they were the first ones to say, ‘I’m going to the wedding,’ and make sure that everyone knows that they are leaving.”
“I don’t have to have a fake friend. I don’t have to go somewhere, promote their product, be a swipe-up link, and then replace it,” Dorothy said.
Back in September 2025, just weeks before her wedding, Dorothy attended Morgan’s dinner for her fashion company Renggli with friends including Paige DeSorbo33.

At another time of Dorothy’s I DoDorothy admitted that her decision to send the person away was not based solely on the published dinner.
“It’s just the way things have always been with this person,” she explained. “This person has said horrible things about me before and has said horrible things about people in my family before, and the more I think about it, I think, and everyone has different sides to them. Sometimes people can be great, but now seeing this, it reminds me of this other side of them that has been saying horrible, horrible things for years and hasn’t changed or progressed much since then, and I’ve taken too much to be able to put up with and be protected. I’ve suffered a lot and put up with a lot, and I’m just like, tired of this.”
During the time forward Beverly Hills Rich KidsMorgan called Dorothy names and suggested she need to lose weight. However, when it came to not inviting her to her wedding, she did so calmly.
“Not like, ‘F*ck you. You’re uninvited. Snap, snap.’ I am going to write a very thoughtful and long email. I want it to be heartfelt and honest, and really not just about the wedding. It’s about our friendship in general, and I know this might be the end of our relationship,” she said.
Dorothy’s email can be seen below:
“I was excited to see you and celebrate last Thursday, but it left me feeling confused, hurt, and unsure of where we are, and unfortunately that’s where we’ve spent most of our 10-plus year relationship. We were both thrust into an unusual situation, but I’ve always looked back on it all, treating you kindly, and wishing you nothing but the best. Over the past year, we’ve had a few heartbreaks about moving on without the weirdness and unnaturalness that I felt coming from your end, I invited you to my wedding in the hope and faith that we didn’t hope it was the case so you understand that this was a real heartbreaker. and a difficult decision for me to make, one that comes after days of grief and emotion.
Later, in episode four, Dorothy said after failing to hear back from the person, she knew she did the right thing.
“It’s weird when you make a stand and cut them out of your life or take them to a wedding, but I know I made the right decision, especially because they didn’t even respond to my email. And instead of responding to my email and talking to me, they just grilled all our friends and people about who leaked what to me, and that means I thought I was even more worse than they thought of me.
At the same time, in comments on the presentation clips, fans gave weight.
“I came straight to the comments to see how many people also immediately thought this was Morgan Stewart,” one person wrote.
“She gave enough clues to tell us it was Morgan without saying it was Morgan,” said another.
“100% talking about MS I don’t even want to say her name,” said a third.
