Anna Faris read about it Chuck Lorrein her comments.
In the TV producer’s new memoir, Sitcomout this week, he admits he was skeptical about hiring Anna Faris as the star of his show Mother.

On Thursday afternoon, the Scary movie the actress took to Instagram to share her thoughts. She begins to admit that she feels his comments are hurtful:
“Yikes. Yeah, I read a couple of things. I didn’t see that coming. It really hurts.”
But then she turns to gratitude and points out how hard she worked for seven years:
“Chuck gave me a job that I loved, and for seven years I didn’t take a day off for granted. I’m proud of what we did together, and nothing changes how grateful I am for those people and those years.”
Opening up about happiness, she ends the statement by saying:
“I’ve been sober for a year and a half. I was on a show about recovery and then I stayed there. Now I’m healthy, I’m working, and I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time.

The internet is largely on Anna’s side, too, with people saying that seven years is a long time. It might be one thing if she had to leave after a year or two, but seven years is longer than most series these days. Maybe not as far as the ones Chuck is used to (Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theoryetc.), but it’s still long!
An actor George Paez left a comment writing:
“I’m not sure if you’ll ever see this but just know how we worked, you were always professional and friendly to be around. I remember chuck was mad about something we were working on and I felt it towards me and you saw me behind the pensive bleachers crowd. You came to me and told me it wasn’t about me, and that chuck has finally said it and no I don’t think he told me that the director was leading him. Chuck didn’t agree with that.
And there were other supportive responses as well, including:
“I hated Mom. My brother has been an alcoholic most of my life and it’s been exhausting and destructive. I watched that show and felt ALL the emotions from the scenes. You did the part justice with Allison Janney and the other lovely ladies.
“I was just watching Mommy because of you! And you were good at it! We all know how good you are”
“He should be singing your praises! If it wasn’t for you being there I wouldn’t even know he was there! You don’t get the credit you deserve for a lot of stuff! Everything you’re into wouldn’t be nearly as big if you weren’t in them!”
