Love your mother! Tallulah Willis, Rebecca RittenhouseLangley Fox Hemingway, and more It-girls celebrate Mother Earth with MOTHER, Shop shopand The Climate Commitment at the Flamingo Estate in Los Angeles, California, on October 14.
The actresses joined MOTHER co-founders Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding and The Climate Pledge Global Leader Sally Fouts at the private home, where lush gardens, colorful art, and special floral arrangements set the scene as partygoers sipped signature cocktails and grazed on fresh vegetables, breads, and dips.
The festivities continued outside, where guests decorated an olive tree with handwritten wishes, selected personalized crystals to take home, and enjoyed an assortment of fruit-topped desserts displayed across a long table.
Meanwhile, poolside, musician Nick Waterhouse and his band treated the crowd to a live performance before Becker took the stage to sign the denim brand’s The Climate Pledge and its commitment to achieve zero carbon emissions by 2040.
“We are honored to be part of Climate Commitment and the community, which is bound together in the spirit of taking care of the ultimate mother, Mother Earth,” said Becker.
“Responsibility has always been important to us, and with 90% of our manufacturing happening in LA, using fine imported materials, supporting local artisans, and working diligently with partners, we’ve been able to make meaningful changes.”
As the evening came to an end, Rittenhouse had her sights set on the stars, joining the line to go through the center’s telescope, sitting at the top of its famous steep staircase.
And in one final gift from Mother Nature, attendees went home with boxes of local fruit from the Flamingo Estate for a sweet end to the night.
