Andrew Cohen he recently released his new book Andrew’s Bravo Screenbookand in it, he opens up about many of the past reunions he has been a part of.
Andy, 58, has had a front row seat to the entire drama, so it’s a treat for any Bravo fan to read his thoughts.
One of the reunions Andy talked about was the season six reunion The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
As fans recall, at that reunion, Kenya Moore55, she famously gave a horned bull as a favor, and used to go Porsha Williams45. Things continued to escalate, and eventually the couple got into a physical altercation.
“One of my big regrets about the reunion was the lack of insight into how badly the Kenyan bull would go down,” Andy writes. “That incident was one of the low points of the series.”
Speaking of Porsha, Andy also said that he thought her first reunion, which happened in season five, was her last.
“Season five was Porsha Williams’ first reunion and, I thought, her last,” he says. “I do I don’t remember now why I was so sure that we weren’t going to raise her, but what I will say is that she proved herself completely, not only as a person, but as a great housewife. “
Andy also spoke to another franchisee who had one of the most brutal meetings ever: Vanderpump Rules.
Once that news broke Tom Sandoval43, has been cheating on a long-term girlfriend Ariana Madix41, with Raquel Leviss32, complete chaos broke out in a situation known as Scandoval.
“Most important of all Vanderpump reunion was, of course, the year of the Scandoval,” said Andy. I thought one of them was going to hit. And because of that, and because we wanted each of them to give their opinions, I did three separate interviews with Tom, Ariana, and Raquel the day before the reunion, so that their views and stories were clearly told.”
“We didn’t have to use those as much because we got everything in the room,” he said. “I’ll never forget the moment Ariana walked out in that dress. Someone who had been part of the ensemble really came out as an individual force to be reckoned with. That show turned into an important part of Bravo history.”
Andrew has a new book available wherever books are sold.
