Ava Ganzcompetitor on the Netflix series Wonka’s Golden Ticketasking the show’s editors to make her look like a “little brat” while competing with her father.
The new reality competition show will bring 12 Golden Ticket winners, and their partners, inside a giant recreation of Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, where they will face games, tests and temptations designed to challenge them physically, mentally and morally as they make their way through the factory. Only one contestant will ultimately win what the show calls a “lifetime money supply.” The prize is $3 million, which will be paid out over 30 years.
Greyhound and her father, Jeffentered the competition as a team and became an early target for the other contestants due to her competitive nature.
The father-daughter duo were eliminated in episode 6 during the “WonkaVator” challenge.
In a video posted to TikTok after her elimination aired on Netflix, Greyhound she tearfully opened up about watching the episodes and how disappointed she was with the editing she received. Despite making it to the end of the “Whirl Power” competition, in which she competed against four men, she felt the show made her look weak.

A show I’m called on The Golden Ticket on Netflix just released yesterday. I’m let down by my editing, and I’m trying not to take it too seriously, but I think it’s bad.
I can’t help but feel like there are some serious girl haters in that editing room, and I’m honestly, like, shaking because I was just looking at my limit. And the worst part of it is that the title says, “Ava, an influencer,” and there’s nothing wrong with being an influencer. This might be the coolest job in the world. But I’m a business owner, and I’m, like, so proud of my business.
I’ve been working with brands this holiday season, like Google and Meta. It is so silly to believe someone who just depends on daddy for everything when that is so far from the truth.
I set up my own creative production business, and I work my ass off in New York City, where I have my own apartment. Not only am I completely financially independent, but I also do everything myself. I don’t have my parents, like, guarantor of my apartment. Nobody moved me across the country. I did it myself.
It’s not because my parents are neglecting me. They love me so much, and I love my parents so much. They raised me to have the most wonderful life and education, but the second I could work legally, I was.
I am so, so let down, not just for myself. Like, I’m just let down like a girl. I just feel like girls in the media have such a hard time being taken seriously.
I was so happy to see my edit, maybe I’ll inspire other young girls by throwing up and staying on the spinning challenge, and beating the other three guys I didn’t appreciate. Even in my dramatic moment, the editing room made it seem like the first time I’d ever shown strength or independence.
“Oh my God, this little brat who is responsible for nothing just went on to show that maybe one day she could stand on her own.” It is so lame to be so rude and believed in a time where I did something sick.
Even how they cut clips of me talking about how I love matcha and hot yoga and fashion and made me look like I’m just all that and nothing else. I have much more depth than matcha, yoga, and fashion. But, yes, I love these things. And being a girl and loving being a girl and loving feminine things doesn’t make any woman less educated, less serious or less ambitious.
They did most to not allow even a moment of content, a moment of depth.
