A judge in the United Kingdom is still debating whether the identity of an anonymous celebrity can be kept under wraps while he is accused of sexual misconduct.

Earlier this week, it was reported that this anonymous public figure is facing allegations that he engaged in “inappropriate sexual activities with a large number of girls and young women.”

It seems that this famous person wants to keep his name out of the media, and his lawyers actually said that if his name was published, it would be “very likely” that he would take his own life. He seems to be afraid of the “experiment with the media.”

according to The DiaryJustice Matthew Nicklin told London’s High Court on Wednesday (October 28) that he will do “everything [he] can” make a decision next week.

“The court must reserve judgment in this matter,” Justice Nicklin said. “I appreciate the urgency.”

The justice told the parties they must “be ready” early next week, reminding the court that the reporting restrictions are still in play.

This celebrity is suing the UK’s ITN and The Guardian in an attempt to stop them from publishing the sexual misconduct allegations against him.

The celebrity has denied the allegations, and his lawyers have warned that he could take his own life if the allegations are made public. His lawyers have also said that the anonymous celeb has attempted suicide twice before, been hospitalized twice, placed in involuntary custody, and seen by more than 10 doctors regarding this matter.

A lawyer for IGN and GNM argues that the case would risk “dragging judges into evaluating the causes of suicidal thoughts, which is for professionals and not for a judge.”

The lawyer went on to say that publishing the claims “would be a valuable contribution to a debate of public importance” and draw attention to men using their power to misbehave against women.
