TikTok star Marcel Johnson died after a battle with stage IV stomach cancer. He was 32.
“2nd November 2026 @ 445pm. I lost half of me,” said Johnson’s wife, Taylorhe wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, November 3.
Along with the message, Taylor shared a series of photos of the couple over the years, some of which include their five children.
“I don’t even have words right now,” she continued. “I feel like this can’t be real life. How can this be real life. I thought I was going to wake up and he was still going to be here by my side. I love him with all my life and life will never be the same. @celnoshell.
While GoFundMe was previously created to financially support Johnson during his cancer battle, the fundraiser is now being used to help his family after his death. More than $370,000 has been raised at the time of publication.
“Hi everyone, as you probably know by now, Marcel has passed away after a long and hard battle with Stage 4 Stomach Cancer,” a message read on the GoFundMe page. “He beat the odds the doctor gave him but in the end he was at peace and ready to not be in pain.”

The statement continued, “We are now raising money for Taylor and their five beautiful boys during this rough time. Anything is appreciated! ❤️.”
Johnson was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer in August 2025 and chronicled his journey through social media for over 200,000 Instagram followers. He underwent 25 rounds of chemotherapy before stopping treatment in September.
“Update, no more chemo, I’m too weak to handle,” he wrote via Instagram at the time. “ Update 2. Hopice [sic] has been calling every day to ask me I’m ready for bed time [sic] you have no more options. Update 3 if I can make it to October 15th and strong enough to travel I will go to my appointment at city of hope in Cali. But I have to do it there first 💪🏽🙏🏽.”
The following month, Johnson and Taylor posted an Instagram video of themselves flying on a private jet to City of Hope Medical Center in California. A few days later, Johnson shared via Instagram that he was returning home and “got some answers” he needed.
