What will we watch this week on Paramount+?
Well, we are getting closer to Halloween, and there are plenty of movies in that realm that you could go to. But if you’re looking for something a little spooky outside this week, this is the place to be. We have one suggestion to scratch that itch, don’t worry. But otherwise, we’re going for camp and fun right now. We could all use a good evening, couldn’t we?
Here are the top three movies to watch on Paramount+ this week.
We are the Millers
There’s simply never a bad time to watch “We’re the Millers.” Janine Teagues (Quinta Brunson) proved that in “Abbott Elementary”, even if her choice of film was finally spent.
“We’re the Millers” stars Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Emma Roberts and Will Poulter as a rogue family, posing as the perfect nuclear unit to smuggle drugs into the country. David (Sudeikis) quickly realizes that happy families in RVs are almost always just moving through at the border, encouraging all the friends. But, along the way, they become as real a family unit as they can be, in the funniest ways.
They also meet another family, played by Kathryn Hahn, Nick Offerman and Molly C. Quinn, and things don’t get any better. “We’re the Millers” is easy, yes, every time.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters
Listen, if you’re not sold on the basic premise here, I’m not sure what else could be.
“Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters” stars Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as Hansel and Gretel – yes, the ones from the fairy tale – all grown up. After meeting a witch who wanted to eat them, they became witch hunters, ridding the world of all evil witches. In the case of this film, Famke Janssen plays the evil witch, who has the ability to change her appearance to deceive the townspeople.
It’s a slightly chaotic action film, but one that has been a fan favorite over the years. Just lean into it and have fun.

Rock of Ages
“Rock of Ages” is one of those movies that you forget it’s there, and then you watch it and you have a “woah, forget it” moment them Tom Cruise is in it. Catherine Zeta-Jones is in it. Bryan Cranston is in it. There is much more to this.
This is the very definition of jukebox music, bringing many ’80s hits to life with unexpected voices. In it, Cruise plays Stacee Jaxx, a world-famous star that everyone wants to be or be with. But he just goes through life numb, so used to fame and worship. He wants to know what love is, and not wanting (dead or alive).
This movie is almost pure camp, and if you’re not into that, this is not your choice. But if you’re someone who’s ever wondered what it would be like if Tom Cruise had a rock tour to play Lestat after “Interview with the Vampire,” this is basically it.
(Actually, his choice to make this movie makes so much sense after watching that one).
