Taylor Swift to debut “Patient Zero” music video at Sunday’s VMAs. Check out a special preview.

Taylor Swift premieres her music video for “Patient Zero” at the MTV Video Music Awards this coming sunday.

A 13-second preview clip of the music video aired exclusively on “CBS Mornings” on Thursday. Swift considers 13 her lucky number.

Swift announced “Patient Zero” earlier this week, saying on social media that she has been “waiting impatiently” to announce that the new album will be out on Friday. A new deluxe version of her latest album, featuring four new songs, “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore,” is also out Friday.

The “Patient Zero” music video stars Colin Farrell and Dakota Johnson and the cinematography was made by Academy Award winner Emmanuel Lubezski.

The VMAs will mark a milestone for Swift, who will receive the first Artist Director Honor at the VMAs, which organizers said recognizes artists “who work behind the camera to expand the possibilities of music videos and advance the art of visual storytelling.”

The new award promises that Swift, who is also nominated in 11 categories, will become the most prestigious artist in the show, breaking the tie between herself and Beyoncé.

The air VMAs on television stations CBS and MTV starting at 7:30 pm ET, 4:30 pm PT., Sunday, September 27. The show will also stream on Paramount +.
